Hello! I guess you can say I am in a VINTAGE mood! I know its not everyones style but I have a fondness for old things. This card was made with Tim Holtz dies. I cut out the poinsettia out of Christmas music paper. I sponged the leaves with Distress ink..Forest Moss and Barn Door Red. Cut Merry Christmas out of coppery bronze shimmer paper. Added a shear shimmery bow and some metal dots to the center of the flower. Thanks for visiting me..See you soon!

Monday, monday... Wow! Another week.... Today's card is a quick one I made with a Christmas tag I found. It is the envelope with the letter inside. I knew right away that I would make a card out of it. I printed out a vintage Santa, inked with distress ink to look old. Added a garment pin with a tiny bell and a scrap of gingham ribbon. I used a dotted embossing folder on the red paper for more texture. I like it! I also sanded the edges of the red paper a bit. Have a great day!

Monday, monday... Hello! It's the start of a new week. Time is going by so fast! I spent the weekend at a scrapbooking crop. It was so much fun. Spending time with all my girlfriends is always a good time. This is a card that I think is cute. Those little mice.. :) I colored it with my Copics,added a bit of chalk for their cheeks and took my clear glaze pen to their eyes, noses and the candle. Thanks for stopping by...I have to get busy! Howdy! I actually have another card to share today!! This is a stamp from UNITY. I thought they looked like they needed noses but whatever I did, didn't look right. I picked some unusual colors for Christmas but I wanted it to be a "Fun" card. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches. The snowflake punch is a very old one! I think its from Creative memories. Monday, monday.... Finally sat down yesterday and made a card. Its been quite awhile since Ive done that! So much going on in my life (chaos)..it felt good to just sit and create. I absolutely love fall and all the colors of the leaves that are turning right now. I must have changed this card 4 times..just couldn't get it to where I liked it. Last revision, I added the glitter paper. I think thats just what it needed! Thanks for coming by today..(if anybody is still out there!) Have a great start to your week! Just checked the "preview" of this page. You really cant see the sparkle of the gold paper or the shimmer of the metallic bronze paper. But in real life, it shines!
