Long time no see!
I have been working on a Girls of Yesteryear card kit. Its finally done! I have just been so busy doing stuff for my upcoming trip and classes that have to be done before I go, that I have been neglecting other areas of my life. Plus I have been quite stressed out that some days I cant function. Gotta snap out of this funk..aint got no time for that!
This is a cute stamp by Whipper Snapper Stamps. I've had it for quite awhile but never used it. Added some clear glaze to his feet and beak. I think the balloons would look cute if they were popped up. Might have to try that!
Hope your summer went well. Cant believe how fast it flew by..... CRAZY!!

Hello! Happy Wednesday!
I had a rush order this week. A friend needed a scrapbook for her Sister. Her dog is dying and she wanted to give her a scrapbook. Very sad story. It was a fairly young dog. These are just a few of the pages in the book. I had another nice poem in it as well.
 Our other friend's daughter was on vacation with the family and got a message from the dog sitter that one of her dogs got out and was killed by a car. Sad sad stories..feel so bad for them all!
Other than that I haven't gotten much else done. Need to get to work. Have a lot of deadlines fast approaching! Hope the rest of your day is wonderful.

I'm glad you stopped by today. I was playing around with my Tim Holtz typewriter die and this is what I came up with. Simple but I like how it turned out. I added some stamped flourishes on the background because it needed something. And yes, the picture is crooked. I am too lazy to take another one! I have been battling another darn headache for several days now. UGH! But this too shall pass! Hope your day is great!!

Haven't been crafting much..kids moving back home...one leaving again..house bursting at the seams with all of their stuff! Its starting to settle down now. One kids stuff will be gone Saturday and the one that's staying finally got it at least down in the basement That's where my "happy place" is so I'm having them move it to the other side at least. I LOVE my kids, don't get me wrong...once they are gone and you are used to that, it takes some adjusting when they come back. KWIM?
 Any way...Here are 2 cards I made recently. The monster card was for my grand nephews 2 yr. old birthday. He's growing so fast. Not a baby any more. It was fun to watch him eat his cake and open his presents. Kids really do make everything much more fun!
Thanks for stopping by and paying me a visit. I'm heading down to get a little craft time in before I decide to take a nap instead. Being on the computer always makes me very sleepy in a short amount of time. Don't know how the people who do it for 8 hrs. on their job can do it.

 I hope your summer is going well. It has been very hot here lately and it's sucking all my energy. I am so thankful for air conditioning!! I remember when we didn't have it..not a fond memory!
 I have been so busy with things I have to do that I haven't been updating lately. Sorry about that.
I'm not complaining though...it is all helping me pay for my trip. Yippee!
This is a cute digi I found on pinterest. Not sure who designed her but she was just so cute. I couldn't wait to color her up. The cards are pretty simple but I wanted the image to stand out.
Both my kids are moving next week. My oldest is moving back home for a little bit ( I have a feeling it isn't gonna be a week or two...) and my youngest is moving closer to home. She called all upset today. Her room mate moved out already but failed to inform my daughter and the 3rd room mate that they have to be out by the 26. She can't get into her new place until the 1st. So I'm gonna have all her "stuff" here as well. I LOVE them to pieces but they are stressing this momma out!

Hope you are having a great holiday weekend. I have been very busy trying to make money for my "trip of a lifetime"! This is a sneak peek of a camera mini album class that I will be having soon. Havent set a date yet but will have a limited number of seats available.

 I also have some card kits still available. The kits include all the supplies needed except adhesive and an ink pad for sponging the edges (optional) There are 4-5 cards in each  depending on which kit you buy. They are all different. Here's a sample card from each kit.

Sorry haven't been posting. I was working on a big project and it is FINALLY done! YAY! There were about 18 pages in this wedding scrapbook but I am just showing you a few. I hope she likes it. It took way longer than I thought but  we are good now. Wedding is tomorrow...
I plan to clean off my desk later. It is a total mess! Then I have a few other projects on my list to do. I think I'm gonna do a project I've been wanting to do first. Maybe I will get some of my mojo back..
 My basement ceiling sprung a leak during the last bad storm. So glad I was down there at the time. It was right over the table I use to display my finished projects. If I wouldn't have been there they would have gotten ruined. Its never leaked there before...My husband said put a bucket it there. It will stop leaking when the rain stops. Ya think?! Guess I will ask my dad to look at it. I'm not complaining though. Lots of people have experienced flooded yards and basements so a little leak is nothing to complain about compared to that!
