I was on the computer & Miss Kitty decided to come sit on my desk. Every time I looked over this is the "look" I got. Isn't she so sweet? She wants something, just haven't figured out what yet! She is very verbal & when she wants something she wants it NOW. She thinks she is the Princess of the house. I've heard the saying..Dogs have owners, Cats have staff...definitely true in this house! Well, she will not leave me alone so I guess I will see if she needs some food. Until tomorrow...

Hi Everyone! Happy Saturday! I haven't been able to post for 2 days due to some computer issues. Today it is working fine. I am not computer savvy so not sure what happened but I'm back!! We got more snow dumped on us but the birds were singing this morning. Does that mean spring is on the way? Hope so! This is a quick get well card. I thought the sentiment was so cute! Hopefully I won't need to send it to someone but it was fun to color & create with. The stamps are by DRS designs. The little felt flowers were in my stash from last year. I've been saving them.. Why do we do that? Don't want to use stuff because we like it. Sometimes I think we are better collectors than actually stampers! LOL! I seem to be on a pink/turquoise kick lately too. A lot of my shirts are also that color...guess I must really like those colors! Have a great day today. I know I will. I'm going to craft all day ( I hope!) Keep warm and see you soon!

Hello. Just a quick post today. I am feeling a little under the weather & I am mad at myself too! I have been trying to lose weight. I was up to 29 lbs lost but have overindulged a lot lately and have gained about 4 lbs. this week! I also started a new medicine & one of the side effects is weight gain. UGH! Gotta pull up my boot straps and get back to seriously trying! I was feeling so much better (physically). It's amazing how you have more energy when you weigh less.
OK enough...on to today's card!
This little hedgehog is by Penny Black. He is called Shy Hedge hog. The medallion is a Spellbinders. It is called LOTUS. The border trim is actually a sticker. Added a little ribbon & some buttons from my stash and he is done! I also sponged the edge of the circle for a little more contrast. Thanks for stopping today. Have a wonderful day. Hoping tomorrow is a better day. I don't have time to be not feeling well! TTFN

Hello! Hope you are having a great day! I am so far! Yesterday my friend & I drove 3 hrs. each way to take a vintage Christmas card class. The cards are sooo pretty. I still have to finish them up. Didn't want to take a chance they would get ruined in the car due to the snow & glitter would still be wet. But I do have a Maggie card for you today. Isn't this couch just perfect? When I saw it I couldn't wait to use it! It is by Darcie. I paper pieced it and the wooden floor is a digital "stamp." I believe this is "jam" Tilda and you can find her at the Magnolia shop that Diana runs. She's is the greatest. Her link is on the side of my post. Check her out! I had to find a little friend to keep Tilda company. I had a stamp of a dog & cat kissing and cut off the poor little doggy so I could just use the kitty. Thanks for coming by for a visit today. Stay warm. Hopefully spring is just around the corner.!

Hi. Happy Thursday! I am longing for spring. So done with the cold & snow! So, I decided to make a springy card. I love this little house mouse. It is called "Gentle Rain". I colored it with my Copic markers and cut it out with my Nestibilities. Added a little clear glaze so the raindrops would look like water. The ladies at my card class enjoyed making him too. Quick post...have a great day!

Happy Valentine's Day! Thanks for stopping by. Tilda baked a cupcake just for you! Isn't this Tilda so sweet? She is Oops Tilda from the Yummy for your Tummy collection. She goes perfect with the kitchen stamp # 628 in Diana's store. http://magnoliastamps.us/store2/. I colored her with my copics and carefully cut her out. The kitchen is also cut out & popped up for dimension. On our trip I found the cute utensil stamp by Great Impression. I knew it would go perfectly with this Tilda collection! I added 2 tiny crystal hearts to her pinafore and a touch of my clear Spica glitter marker to give it some sparkle. Thanks for stopping today. Valentine hugs to you all!.

Happy Saturday! I am looking forward to today because I am staying home and playing with my goodies I bought on our trip. Every day since I came home I have had somewhere to go. Not complaining. I am thankful I have such good friends and places to go! But I am anxious to start creating and having the whole day to myself! Dinner is done (in the crock pot) so I am set!
I bought a "vase" punch and created these funny gals with it. I thought they would be fun to send to friends "just because." I have seen them before but finally found the punch to make my own. Great to use up scraps too. Speaking of scraps...I think they multiply on their own. My stash never seems to go down! Someday soon I will post how I have mine. It has made a world of difference for me & now I seem to use them a lot. Hope your day is a fun one! Can't wait to see what you create. I love reading people's blogs and seeing what they come up with. Enjoy yourself today & I will see you soon.

Hi Everyone! We are back from our "stamping" trip to North Carolina. We had soooo much fun! We shopped til we dropped & purchased lots of new goodies! The people there were so friendly, every where we went. Everyone says "yes Ma'am" (emphasis on Ma'am). Our returning flight did get canceled but luckily my friend was able to book another flight flying into Memphis. The ticket counter lady @ the airport said we were lucky because that was the last flight out that day back to Cleveland. We agreed it wouldn't be too bad if we got stuck for 1 extra day but anything beyond that was going to be a bummer. I learned next time I go somewhere to bring extra underwear, just in case you get stuck somewhere! LOL!
This card was made with Sure Cuts a Lot. It was the first thing I tried. I still have to learn more about it. I'm a little confused and need to read up on it. This card is for a 10 yr old girl with leukemia. You can read all the details at www.dustinpike.blogspot.com. She loves Owls and I thought this would be the perfect card to send her. I am partial to all the cute owls that are out there right now too. The flowers were made with my Martha Stewart hydrangea flowers punch. The Thinking of you is a rub on. All the papers were from my scrap bins. I used a little chalk to accent some of the areas. Thanks for stopping today. I can't wait to go craft with my new goodies. See you soon!

No card today. I found this on the Internet...we are supposed to get a big storm. I am tired of all the snow! I took down all my snowman stuff the other day. I am ready for spring! My stamping buddies & I are going to North Carolina next week for a few days. Our schedule is jam packed full of shops too visit in the area. Hope to find some great stuff. Hope it's a little warmer there than here! Think I'll go down to my craft room & find something springy to color! See you soon!

Hi! Happy middle of the week, Wednesday! I finally got to make some cards with my Magnolias. They were feeling very neglected! I had some really cute "cooking" papers that I thought would be perfect to use with the "Yummy for your Tummy" collection. The top card is done with "Kitchen Tilda" and the bottom card is done with # 391 Chef Tilda and # 629 stove. All are available from Diana at www.Magnoliastamps.us. She has excellent service & is just a wonderful lady. I colored my Maggies with my Copic markers & then carefully cut them out & popped them up with foam tape. I used some teeny, tiny crystals to add a little sparkle. The sentiment was computer generated. Thanks for stopping today. It is sooo cold here! I am ready for spring...took down all my snowman yesterday and got out some of my "spring" decorations. I was hoping it would perk things up around here! LOL! Have a great day...Happy crafting!

Monday, Monday.... Good Morning! Hope you had a great weekend! I didn't have time to make anything this weekend so I am showing you a card my friend designed. Isn't it so cute? I love how she put the letter in his mouth. Of course I had to borrow her stamps so I can make some more of these. I make cards for a dog rescue so this will be perfect. I am itching to get down to my craft room & stamp. Sometimes I feel like it is an addiction, ya know? Hopefully after my walk I will get the chance to go down there & start creating. Have a great day & stay warm. Thanks for stopping by!
