Hello ~ Happy Thursday! I am so excited today...I weighed in at Weight Watchers and I lost another 4.2 lbs!!! I really wasn't expecting it to be a loss that big. Usually it is 1-2 lbs.
Today's card features another Tilda from the Pet collection. Isn't she cute holding her kitty? I used my Nestibilities Dahlia set . The stitching was done with a white gel pen. My papers were from my scrap bin. Tilda was cut out & pop dotted up. Thanks for visiting & I will see you soon!

Good morning! I can't believe it's another Monday already. This Tilda is from the Pet collection. Isn't she sweet! I swear every image they come out with is so darn cute. It certainly doesn't help my wallet! I colored her and cut her out so I could pop dot her. The bird cage was stamped a second time and cut out so it would be just slightly more raised than Tilda. I had a little birdy brad so I added it and I think it is just the perfect little doo dad for this card. The rickrack is actually a sticker. Hope you have a great start to this new week and I will see you soon. Take care!

Hello ~ Happy Saturday to you! Today's card is another one I taught at my stamp class. I think the ladies had fun making it especially with the bright Zing embossing powders. We stamped, embossed & used the cuttlebug embossing folder to add some texture to the background. It was a pretty simple card but it had quite a few "steps". In my class I have seasoned stampers as well as new ones so every card I come up with has to be appealing to both and not too hard for the newer ones. Thanks for paying me a visit today and have a wonderful weekend!

Happy Thursday! This is one of the cards we made at the card class I teach. I just love these beach cuties from www.allthatscraps.com. This is a digital stamp that I bought. I like digital stamps because I can print them out in any size. We used a making memories punch for the bottom. I thought this punch was so cute and would go perfect with any of my summery stamps.
On a side note...if you have kids, give them an extra hug today. We have to go to a wake tonight for a 22 yr.old son of my hubby's friend. He was found dead in his apartment and they are not sure what happened. They suspect that he might have been experimenting with drugs. So sad! It will be hard to see him as I have children right around this age. So, squeeze your loved ones & tell them you love them...Life's too short. Until tomorrow, Happy stamping!

Hello ~ As soon as I saw this Tilda I knew what I wanted to do with her! I cut the flower & the leaves with my Cricut and the lines were made with my Scor-it. My summer kit arrived yesterday so I can't wait to ink them up & create. Thanks for looking...have a great day!

Monday, Monday....I can't believe it is Monday again. The week just flew by! Today's card is made with a Stampin Up set called Unfrogettable. I had this card in my stash and pulled it out to share with you. I have been crafting...filling some orders so I don't have a "new" card to share today. I think this card could be given to a child or an adult.

I am headed out for a walk with friends. We walk a little over 2 miles in the park twice a week. I love walking there because we usually see a deer or two and we get to hear the frogs. They sound like someone plucking a string on a guitar. I am grateful for all of God's creation. It is so peaceful there and today is not too hot so it should be a really good walk. Have a good one!

Oh, the lazy days of summer! This image is by Penny Black and I think it is so cute! To be so relaxed and to look cute doing it. Could we ask for anything more? I'm off to take a mid afternoon snooze and recharge my batteries. However I don't have a large daisy to shield me from the sun so I guess I will napping on the couch LOL! Hope you are enjoying this glorious day!
Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Saturday to ya! I don't have a card this morning but I do have to share this picture of my dog. Ever get the feeling someone is staring at you? Every time I am on the computer, I turn around and this is what I see. She will sit there and watch me the entire time! She is my little shadow. I can't even get up to get something without her following me. Oh, the unconditional love of a dog. Yes, I love her very much! ( Can you tell?) Well, heading out to do some errands. Hope to create something when I get home. Until then....Have a great day!

Hello! I just got back from having lunch with my son & 1 of his friends. He took me out to Applebee's & it was so yummy! I ordered 2 kinds of salad for the pick a pair. I'm sure it was more "points" then I should have had on Weight Watchers. We also split a dessert 3 ways. Hopefully I didn't do too much damage. That was so nice of him to invite me along & to pay for my lunch.
Today's card features another one of the cute Teddies from Wild Rose studio. I paper pieced his heart to match. I think these little teddies are so adorable. I can't wait to make some more cards with them. Have a great afternoon. TTFN!

Hello ~ Hope you are having a great day! I am having some computer issues..not sure why. It can be so frustrating because I am not computer savvy! Today it finally feels like summer. I think we are in the 80's. There's a slight breeze so that makes it a perfect day. Isn't this Teddy cute? I saw him in a magazine but was told the company, Wild Rose Studio, did not ship to the US. I was bummed but found out http://www.allthatscraps.com/ was going to be getting them in a few days. I adore Teddies and I just had to have him! This is a quick card I made with scraps of paper & ribbon from my scrap bin. I have soooo many scraps. There are days I just want to throw them out but I don't because I know I should use them up. I have a new way to store them now & it is very easy for me to get at them and pick out a few to create with. So, I hope to make a good dent in them. Hope you have a wonderful day & I hope to see you soon!

Monday, Monday...... I made another little card with the mermaid from www.allthatscraps.com. The card base is the Doily card that can be found on the Cricut Cartridge "Wild card". She is a fun little image and I had a small stamp that said "best fishes" so I thought that went together perfectly. I used Stickles on her jewels to make them extra sparkly. Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great One!

Happy Saturday friends. Sorry I haven't posted the last couple days. I found a new craft table at a thrift store and tore my space all apart to reorganize. What a mess! But I am 90 % done now. The table I was using before was quite small. My work area ended up being like 12" x 12". It worked but I was really cramped. At this thrift store they had a LARGE conference table that started out at 100.00 but I got it for 20.00!!! It is so nice. I now have lots of room to create!Today's card is with a digital image from http://www.allthatscraps.com/. Isn't she cute? I colored and cut out all of my pieces and adhered some of them with pop dots for a more 3D look. I embossed the blue section with my swirl folder to make it look like water. The "orange ribbon" is actually a ribbon sticker from DCWV. I added some clear skittles for water bubbles then spritzed the whole thing with Pearl glimmer mist by Tattered Angels. It makes the whole card sparkly! I am trying to take better pictures. They are definitely better but still not as "defined" as I would like. I will keep trying. Have a wonderful day and I will see you real soon!

It's a great day today isn't it? I am so happy...I just came back from Weight Watchers and I lost another 1 1/2 lbs., even over the holiday weekend! WooHoo! Today's card is one I made for my Dad. He needed a Thank you card for his vet. The dog is a stamp by Judith. I think he is my favorite dog stamp from my collection. The small bone stamp is from Too much fun rubber stamps and I used a small Thank you stamp to fit on it. The papers are from the Paws & Claws Dog card stock pad. I added a small pewter heart brad for the charm on his collar. He just looks like a happy dog with his wagging tail & smile! Hopefully this is how my Dad's dog feels now that she has had her surgery and is on the mend. Going out to lunch with my daughter today & shopping for her dorm. I hope we have fun. See you soon. Until then....

Good Afternoon! I got to play a little this afternoon. This card is made with a stamp from Whipper Snapper. They are one of my favorite companies. I am into "cute" and they definitely have a lot of "cute" images! The paper is from Cosmo Cricket and it is from the Girl Friday & Everafter collection. After I stamped my image I cut it out with the Labels One Nestabilities. I cut a coordinating paper 1 size larger also with the labels 1. I used a piece of the Core'dinations Core Essentials card stock for the center strip & I lightly sanded the edges. I tied a scrap of matching ribbon around it then adhered it to my card. Each flower has a light yellow brad for the center. I popped up the layer that has the image stamped on it for dimension. To finish it off I stamped Thank you on a scrap of light aqua and punched it out with the word window punch from Stampin Up. Added 2 tiny rhinestones on either side of sentiment then added it to my card.

Going to play some more....Bye!

Happy Monday friends! I hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend! Today's card was made with my beloved Magnolia stamps. They can be purchased at http://www.magnoliastamps.us/. I first stamped the branch with the swing, colored it & carefully cut it out. I adhered it where I wanted it on the card. I then stamped Tilda & also cut her out. I pop dotted her on the swing for a little dimension. I added a touch of sparkle to her bow as well as her tank top. The leaves on the branch were colored with my clear glaze pen to give them a little shine. The ladybug stickers are from Jolees. Oh, and the rickrack is also a sticker. I even decorated a little on the inside! Well, have a great day and enjoy the sunshine. It has finally decided to make an appearance here where I live. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you find a little time to spend doing something you love.

TGIF!!! I just got home from my morning swim. Today's card features a stamp from Whipper Snapper. I think it is a really cute image. I clear embossed it then colored it with my Copic markers. You can't see from the picture but all the flowers and frog's tummy are shiny. I used my clear gel pen for that. I also added a little sparkle to the turtle's shell with my clear spica glitter pen. The rickrack is a sticker. And I added an orange flower button for an accent. It is still rainy & cold here. Temp. is in the 60's! Hope you have a wonderful 4th of July. BBQs, fireworks & hanging out with family & friends. What could be better? God Bless America!! See you soon!

No card today...I was gone all day, shopping & having lunch with a friend and her girls. We had a lot of fun! After we shopped, we stopped at a small lake and fed the ducks and even some fish. I saw some different varieties of ducks that I had never seen before. Some were all black with a touch of green & blue feathers. A couple other ones had green bills! Tonight while I was making dinner I peeked in the living room and saw my two "babies" taking a nap together. It was so cute I had to take a picture. They woke up just as I was about to click the button but I still think it's a cute picture. Still unseasonably cold here...feels more like a fall day than July. I don't like it when it's real hot anyway so it's OK by me. I hope to have a card to post tomorrow so I will see you then! Bye...

Rain, Rain, go away..... Hi everyone! Can you believe it is already July !st? It's only around 60 degrees here. Definitely not typical July weather! I got this Changito "Rainy Day" set from Stampendous. Aren't they cute? I just love the little boots & frog. I embossed a large polka dot background with my sizzix. I colored the image with my Copic markers then added some Hero Arts prima glitter for some sparkle! I also used my clear glaze pen on the water & frog's eyes to make them look shiny. This card reminds me of when my daughter was little with her cute little rainboots and her little yellow raincoat. I think she spent more time twirling her umbrella than actually staying under it to keep dry! LOL! I hope you have a great day. It's a perfect day to craft or curl up with a good book. I just might do both. TTFN!
