Monday, Monday... Yes, it is still June! I am so silly...I was a week ahead of everything. I don't know how I thought it was July but I did for several days before someone told me...DUH! I must have been having a senior moment or something! Glad I was told before I went grocery shopping. I would have gotten all the food for our 4th of July cookout.

Today's card is a cute little House Mouse sniffing a lilac. I love lilacs! I used my Martha Stewart hydrangea punch for the flowers to give it more dimension. The frame is a Nestibilities Die and the butterflies are confetti I found in the dollar bin @ JoAnns. I am scenting this card with some Lilac Card Scents that I bought last year...mmm... Thanks for stopping & Have a great afternoon in JUNE..LOL!

I'm such a dork! I had to edit today's post about it being the beginning of the holiday weekend...DUH! I'm a week ahead of schedule...whew! I'm not as behind the eight ball as I thought! LOL!

TGIF! Time for the weekend to begin! Our town is having a rib burn off and I have been smelling good things for the last 2 days! (We live close to the center of our town so the smell keeps wafting by)

Today's card is Tilda with presents. She can be purchased at Magnolia-licious.I thought she would make great Birthday cards! They are so versatile. I could see using this one for Christmas time too! The flowers are actually from a bag of confetti that I bought at Joann Fabrics. It had butterflies & 2 kinds of flowers. I knew they would be great for embellishments on cards. I have a few more Tildas that haven't been inked up yet so I hope to change that today. I do have to go grocery shopping and maybe Target to pick up a birthday present. But I hope to have time later to craft.

Have a great weekend!

Hello & Welcome to July! Today is the first "official" day of my term on the Squigglefly Design Team!` I thought I would tell you a little about them. They have a rewards program that you can sign up for. For every $15.00 you spend in their store you receive credit for 1 free image. You can use it right away or let it build up until you find something you really like. Also, if your computer ever crashes, just email them and they will retrieve your squigglefly images for you & mail them back. How cool is that? They have also started a new group on Paper Craft Planet. You can find that here.
This image is from Squigglefly. It's one of the new shy bears digis. I just love it and couldn't wait to color it up! It's hard to see in the picture but I added glossy accents to the ball to make it look shiny like the real thing. I also added some clear glaze to the lemonade. I used distress stickles to accent the sand. That was my first time using them and I really like how they turned out. The sun diecut is a Sizzix die and the sunglasses are actually a button I had. Thanks for stopping today. Enjoy the sunshine & stay cool. Until next time...

Howdy! Happy Tuesday to ya! This is a cute shy bear image from Squigglefly. Isn't she sweet? Reminds me of my Grandma who always had her hair up in curlers with a scarf tied over them. I knew I had a coffee set from SU that would go perfectly. I chose the "miss you a latte" sentiment for this card but any of them would have been good. I added some glossy accents to the coffee to make it look wet. I also accented the eyes & nose with my clear glaze pen. She was a fun one to create a card with. Thanks for stopping. Come back soon ya hear?!

Hi ~ Hope all the dads out there had a great Father's day! I struggle with making "guy" cards. I love to add sparkle & embellishments to my cards and I'm pretty sure the men in my life would not appreciate glitter on their cards! This card doesn't have any stamping on it. The image was cut from a piece of scrapbook paper from ...oh, I'm having a senior moment! I think it's called Graphics 45? I will check on that... I used a scrap piece of paper that had a texture similar to steel wool to mount it on. I have been saving it for just the right guy card. I embossed the black paper with a hounds tooth embossing folder. I sanded the edges of the brown paper & added a few brads & some twine to finish it off. I have some free time tomorrow and I can't wait to get down to my craft area and stamp my little heart out. It was a busy week and there wasn't much time for creating. Well, I'm off to bed. Goodnight!

Hello! It's been a busy, busy week but I am still here. LOL! Guess what? I am soooo excited!! I was accepted as a designer for Squigglefly! My term is July thru December. They have great digital images. This card was made with "Oswaldo goes shopping". Isn't she sweet? You can't tell from the picture but I cut her out and popped her up for dimension. I added a feather in her hat and some sparkle to her flower & purse. She was so fun to color. I also added some clear glaze to her pearls to make them shiny. I hope you'll take a look at their website as they have some really cute designs. (Just click on the name Squigglefly above and it will take you there!) Thanks for stopping today..see ya soon!

Monday, Monday....
Good Morning! Did you have a good weekend? Mine was good.
Are you sick of owls yet? I don't know why but I LOVE cute owls! These stamps are by Stampendous. I used all scraps to make them. I like them both but I think the one holding the flower is my favorite. I embossed them and colored them in with my Copics then cut them out with Nestibilities.
Well, housework awaits so I must go! See you soon!

Good Morning!

So, these two cannibals were having a clown for lunch. The one looks over at the other and says...."Does this taste funny to you?" Just had to start the day with a little humor!
No card today but I did make these cute owls on my Cricut. My daughter & I were in Walmart the other day when I spotted 24 new Cricut Lite cartridges... Jackpot!!! Wasn't expecting to see those as I thought they were not releasing them until July 1st. Well, anyhoo...I found one called Hoot 'n Holler and it is all owls & owl sayings. Just had to be mine for sure! There were so many cute ones...it was hard to pick. I did end up buying four of them so now I am broke. But that's OK. They should keep me busy for awhile! Have a great day and I'll see you soon! Happy Crafting!

Hello! Happy Friday! Quick post as I am headed out the door. These cards were made with the new mermaid stamps from All That Scraps. They are available in Digital & rubber. I chose to buy the digital ones. They are all very sparkly with gems and glitter and shimmery papers or ribbon. Trying to use up my scraps. (Don't think I will ever get to the bottom though, LOL!) My friend Bonnie loves mermaids so I did these for her...I hope she likes them! Well, gotta run. See you soon! Have a great afternoon!

Well Hello! Blogger has been down most of today so I decided to check once more to see if I could post and it is finally up & working! Don't know what the issue was but...
Today's card is a version of one I saw on Splitcoast. I used SU's current IN colors. The ribbon & the base are Bermuda Blue...LOVE that color! The stamps are by Scrappy Cat. I used my blender pen & markers to "watercolor" the flowers. I stamped a few additional flowers & cut them out & popped them up to give some dimension to my card. The "thinking of you" is a rub on. I like how it turned out. Wasn't sure during the process. I know you know how that is!
Thanks for stopping today. I have to get back to making my dinner...Taco Salad..YUM!

Hi! It's a gorgeous day here...lots of sun! And it's Friday! WooHoo!! (Not that it matters to me..LOL) Since Wedding season is upon us I thought I would like to come up with a card for my next card class. I saw this idea in several places...Splitcoast & Cindy Lawrence's blog... and I just loved it. So, mine is a spin off of those. The "Bride" heart is cut out of iridescent paper & then run through with an embossing folder. The "Groom" heart is iridescent black card stock. The bottom of the card was punched with an EK Success border punch. The charm says "Love" on it and I found it in the bridal section of our local craft store. The ribbon also has some iridescent sparkle on it. I hope the ladies like it as much as I do! I think it turned out well. It is such a cute idea..something I had never seen before. Thanks for taking a peek at my blog today. Have a good one!!

Hello! How time flies when you're having fun! I swear I don't know where the days get to.... I haven't been able to create the last few days because so much other stuff going on. I did have time to make 1 card though and this is it! It is a digi stamp from the Greeting Farm. Aren't these mice adorable? I think it is meant for a Christmas stamp but I wanted to use it for a Thank you card. I'm going to put inside "that was so sweet of you". I colored the candy cane in fun colors to remind me of those sticks of candy you could buy for like 10 cents. I added lots of stickles and the paper is glittery. Sparkles & sweets, what could be better? Thanks for stopping by today.
Toodles!
