Good Afternoon! I was able to get 1 (yes, one!) card done yesterday. If I keep going at this rate, I might be ready for NEXT year!! LOL!  I got a better offer yesterday so I went running around with a friend. She works nights and sleeps during the day so any chance I get to spend with her during the DAY, I take it!
This snowman is made from  a Sizzix die. I thought he was cute. There are 2 different ones on the die. I used really sparkly paper for his body and scraps for the rest. I also punched out snowflakes from another kind of sparkly paper and added some gems to the middle. Added chalk to his cheeks and a button on his hat. The sentiment is from Paper Smooches.
I hope to get some more stuff done today but have gotten a late start. My daughter was here Monday and she had a bad cold. Well, she succeeded in passing it along to me! Thanks Honey, Love you!!
Thanks for dropping by today and have a great day!

Hello! Still haven't gotten to craft but I thought I would share some of my decorations for Christmas. Last year I posted other pictures of my mantel, etc.. so this year I will show you some others! If you want a closer look just click on the picture.
This is a little old fashioned tree I put up in my dining room. It has some wooden ornaments that look kind of old. I put some bells on it and they have some strips of cloth woven on the wire. Also some felt snowflakes.

These snowmen are really a door draft protector. I put them in the window on the landing. Much cuter there!

This is one of my favorite things. I change his"attire" for the holiday or season. He's on top of a Victoria cabinet I garbage picked..love it! (It was just the cabinet...the parts inside were gone. But it has the crank on the side still!)

I know I showed you my dry sink before. I also change it for the seasons.

I'm finally heading downstairs to get some Christmas cards done. My daughter came to visit Monday and she wasn't feeling well. Ugh, she gave me her cold! Don't have time to be sick...too much to do! :) Have an awesome day!!

Hello! Quick post..I have to babysit my great nephew in a few minutes.
These are 3 of the 4 cards we are going to be making tonight in my card class.
I love the peppermint washi tape on this gingerbread card! That's what inspired the whole card.
The stamp is by Peachy Keen.

This deer card was made with a Tim Holtz embossing folder (trees) and his deer die. I really like how this turned out. Thought it would be good for those on my Christmas card list that are men or nature lovers!

I LOVE how this one turned out! It looks like such a simple card but it took me FOREVER to get it the way I wanted. The snowflake paper in the middle is almost like a vellum and it has flocked snowflakes on it. So if you open the card it is see through. I made the card base blue to add some color. Inside I stamped the sentiment it white so it didn't show through. Added a little bling and it was finally done. The die I  used is from Cheery Lynn I think.
Thanks for visiting me today! See you soon!

TGIF!!!
Hope you are winding down the work week and looking forward to the weekend!
I know I am! I am sort of dreading it too...I have spent the last 3 Sundays in the ER trying to help a family member. She finally got placed in a treatment facility Monday morning...they sent her home yesterday...ARGGG. They had no heat and no hot water. She was doing OK I thought but got "one of those phone calls" where she was melting down again. So Stressful!!! Trying my best to help her but there is only so much I can do. And stress is not good for my MS so I really need to watch it!
Anyhoo. I FINALLY got to craft a little. This stamp is from Hero Arts. Originally I had stamped the sentiment right onto the polka dot paper but I didn't think it showed up good enough. Added some glimmer to his scarf and to the tree on the mitten. Might change the bow..not sure if I like it. A solid red might look better.
Thanks for coming by.

Hello! I swear I can hear you saying..
Why haven't you posted something new??!!!
Well, I have been dealing with a family member who is going thru a really rough time. We have spent several trips to the hospital trying to get some mental health for her. With no insurance, that is difficult! Well, Sunday she was really having a bad time of it.We talked for several hours and I THOUGHT she was OK..long story short, my gut said something was wrong. Went over to her house...she had overdosed. Had to get police involved...FINALLY was able to get her into a treatment facility...only for 5 days but I am praying that she gets on the right track and now that a treatment center is involved I am hoping she has access to resources to help her.
With all that said...I HAVE NOT crafted AT ALL...Today after I take care of a few things I am marching my butt right down to my craft area. I NEED to craft..its my stress relief. So, please bear with me...I feel so bad..I would love to post every day or every other day but Life has just gotten more busy. I do have some cards we did last week when I taught at our card group. I will post those later today...So thanks for hanging in there with me! See you soon

Monday, monday.....
Just got back from a walk in the mall...all the Christmas decorations are starting to go up. I am sooo not ready for that. This will be the first year with no kids at home :( It's going to be a very different experience!
This MiMi stamp is by Penny Black. Isn't she cute?! I used a large snowflake punch by Martha Stewart with a snowflake button in the middle. I also added some Stickles to her hat & snowflakes.
Not sure who the ribbon is by..I think I got it last year at Michaels but not positive!
I am so thankful for all the little things we take for granted! All those people that lost homes, lives,electricity,heat,etc...My heart goes out to them. I am very thankful that I got to take a hot shower this morning, that I have food in my refrig, and a soft pillow to lay my head down on. I am blessed beyond measure! Thanks for dropping by. See ya soon!

Hello ~
My dad asked me to make him a confirmation card for a party he will be attending. I didn't have anything like that already in my stash. I used an embossing folder I had gotten fairly recently. I really liked it and knew it would be one I will use a lot! I cut around the embossing and inked it slightly to make the words stand out more. I popped it up on the shimmery card base that was embossed with a dots folder. I added some flowers I made with my punches, added a sparkly crystal the the center of each flower and finished it off with a shimmery bow.
The inside I printed something off on my computer since I didn't have a stamp that I wanted to use with it. Added some more flowers and called it done!
Thanks for coming by. Have a great day!
