See you soon!

Good Morning! I know..be still my heart. She's posted 2 days in a row! Now that the holidays are winding down I have more time to get back to my crafting. I need to do it...it's my therapy!!
The "you're so sweet" card is a thank you card I need to send out. It was made with a sizzix tag die & you got the little candy die for free. It was a christmas item so it was 60% off. I got a gift card from my son's girlfriend for Jo Anns so I stopped there yesterday.
The owl card stamp was just soo cute. I figured it would make a great "generic" birthday card for my stash. I think it still needs a little something though not sure what. I didn't want to totally cover up the birthday embossing. Maybe I will add 2 tiny buttons or brads....
Thanks for stopping. Have a great day! Hopefully when you come back tomorrow I will have something new for you! I plan on staying home in my comfy clothes and doing laundry while I stamp. Sounds like a fun day!! See you soon...

Hello! Welcome back. I finally got a little time to craft. My son got me the Cricut cartridge Lite called B is for Boy. I just adore the sock monkey on there. He is cute! The dog is also on that cartridge. Looking forward to making others from it. The Happy Birthday is from a Martha Stewart punch.
Yesterday I stamped with a friend for a little while. It was nice to visit & have lunch with her. Hopefully life will get back to normal. I am hustle bustled out!
Have a great day. See you soon!

Just wanted to wish you a very Merry Christmas!!
May it be filled with all good things.
See you soon!

Monday,monday.... Hello! Can you believe it's Christmas week?! I still have sooo much to do! Today I am sharing with you the calendars I have made for some gifts. They took me forever! I feel like I have been working on these far too long. They turned out cute so I hope they are liked by the recipients. They measure 4x6" and they are in acrylic stand up frames. Each month has it's own page.
I also have a class this week. Today I have to make next month's samples and get tomorrow's kits ready. Then tonight my son is being honored for Fireman of the Year in the community he works in. Exciting! Enjoy your day. Toodles!

Hello & Happy Wednesday to ya! It's really looking like Christmas around here...lots of the white stuff outside! I have been pretty busy. Way behind in my Christmas card making. Monday was a snow day so I got to create all day! Didn't want to head out in to the bad weather so I stayed around here. Comfy pants, hot chocolate & crafting. A perfect day!!! My cards are very similar to one we made at my class. I spent all day mass producing. Still don't have enough though!
Last night I went to a friends church and we made holiday centerpieces. I think they turned out so nice and they smell good too. Unfortunately my cat is loving it. Keeps pulling the pine out then I catch the puppy chewing on it. It is on my kitchen table & I DO NOT allow the cat on there but obviously she sneaks when I am not looking! Have a great day.

Monday, monday...
Hello my long lost blog friends!! I have been away due to a family member that was in ICU. He was on a respirator but is now on the mend. I caught some sort of bug, probably from the hospital! Feeling better now but sooo far behind on everything!
This is my last Squigglefly post! My term is over and some new people will be taking over. It sure was fun! For our last challenge we were to make a gift card holder. I just love this snowman so I had to use him...now just have to get a gift card to put inside and it will be good to go! You can check out my other team members creations on the Squigglefly challenge blog. Lots of different ideas!
Well, we are supposed to get a HUGE storm bringing lots of snow. Might be good because I will be able to catch up on some of the things that I haven't gotten to! Thanks for stopping and bear with me. I hope to get back on track soon. I know some of my readers are sad when they don't see something new. I will try really hard to get my "butt in gear". Until next time!...

Monday, December 6, 2010

No new card today but this is a reminder what Christmas is really about! We all get caught up in the hustle bustle of the holidays and take our focus off the real reason for the season.

TGIF!!
Isn't this a cute way to make a gift out of a candy bar? I saw these on Splitcoast and just had to make them for my stamping group. Didn't take long at all. I added some stickles to the heart for a little bling. Added a tiny bell to his hat and used ribbon for his scarf. Inexpensive to make but something to let someone know you care about them!
Have a great day!

Hello! I am still around! I've heard from of few people that they missed me! Thanks...my new favorite hobby seems to be napping...resulting in less crafting!

Squigglefly had a new release this past weekend and all I can say is I'm late,I'm late for a very important date...no time to say Hello,Goodbye..I'm late,I'm late I'm late! But better late than never. The bunny card is a Get Well card..inside says Get Well Soon!
The fireman card was made with an image from one of my design team sisters, Marlene Shaw. He is called "Phat Phireman". I think he looks a little jolly like Santa! I think it will make a good Birthday card for someone who will have a lot of candles on their cake!

I also made my husband's Christmas cards for his business. He fixes shuttle buses and wanted a bus incorporated into his cards. I found this stamp & got the go ahead from him. I put a Santa hat sticker over Snoopy's ball cap. I like how they turned out! Finding bus stamps has proved to be difficult!
Hope you have a great day! I made some cute Christmas goodies for my Stamp class tonight. Look for tomorrow's post to see what they are! I can't post it now because a few of the ladies look at my blog & I want them to be surprised!
Toodles!

Monday,monday....
Good morning! How are you doing on this fine monday morning? Short week for most of you so it should be great! Today's card is a CASE from somewhere on the "net". Don't remember where I saw it but I thought it was just too cute! I already had the same paper so I couldn't wait to make him. I cut him out with my Cricut. Well, my house has been greatly neglected lately so cleaning is the task for today. I am working on my husband's work Christmas cards for him to send to his clients. Hopefully I will get those finished tonight or tomorrow so I can just sit & "play". Have a great day!!

TGIF!!!
Sorry...my computer is acting up again. It wouldn't recognize my camera or printer but I think it's OK now. Technology is great but when you have someone like me it is hard to figure out what is wrong & what to do about it!
These are a few Christmas cards I have made in the last few days. I think my favorite is the snowman shaker. The image is from Peachy Keen stamps...so cute!
Squigglefly having a huge release this weekend. Three new artists! One is a gal on our design team. Make sure you stop by & check them out tomorrow. Digital stamps are great! Inexpensive and you can store hundreds of them..no pain!

Monday, monday....
Hello! Welcome! It's Squigglefly's new design team challenge. We were to make a card with only a Squigglefly sentiment. Quick & simple! Check out my teammates creations here. Not feeling chatty today...I have a crazy amount of stuff that has to get done TODAY so I'm off to get started. Thanks for stopping! Have a great day!

Thursday, November 11, 2010

Hello! Happy Thursday to ya! We are having our "Indian summer" right now and it is a very enjoyable morning so far. The sun is shining!
Tonight is when our monthly stamp group meets and it is my turn to supply the projects. I had them all done and then last night I made this card. I really like how it turned out so I am going to replace one of the projects I had for this one. The swirl border & the reindeer are EK Success punches. I am LOVING the swirl border...it adds so much to your projects! I can see me using this one quite a bit!
Thanks for stopping today. Enjoy your day! See you soon.

Monday, monday... Where has the time gone? I feel like I am on a merry go round that won't let me off! LOL! My mom always said life gets faster the older you get but jeez! I'm not that old am I? I feel like it this past few days...my firstborn turned 25! Started out as a very sick premie 1 lb. 14 oz. Now he's over 6 feet and wears a size 13 shoe!
Anyhow, enough chatter! Today's card was made all out of punches. I think he turned out cute. I added a little feather accent to the top. Hope whoever gets it that it will make them smile.
Have a great day and I hope I see you soon. I am working on a lot of Christmas presents. I feel "behind" because I also have to make my Christmas cards and my hubby's cards for his company...I better get to work..BYE!

Monday, November 1, 2010

Monday, monday...Can it really be the first of November already? Before we know it the holidays will be upon us!
This week's challenge for Squigglefly was to create a card with a detachable bookmark. I used the image named Gift Bearer. I tried to use some unconventional holiday colors. You can check out all the cards my team made HERE.Thanks for stopping & join in the fun...create a card for the challenge and post it here. You could win a prize.
Have a great day!

Hello! Long time no see! I am still not feeling my best but I did get to create a little! These cards were made with my Cricut Imagine. Still trying to learn all that it can do but so far I am enjoying it. I am still going to keep my Expression as it is my favorite and I can take it with me if I want. The Imagine is way too heavy & if you move it you have to recalibrate it.

Isn't this bear so cute? It is from a new designer on Squigglefly. His name is Winanto Nugroho. There are a few other bears so be sure to check it out. Hope you have a wonderful weekend and I hope to see you again soon...fingers crossed!

Sunday, October 24, 2010

Hello! I can't believe a week has gone by. I have not been "with the program" lately! I feel like I am a day late & a dollar short. I hope to get back into the swing of things soon. I have some health issues that have kept me from crafting a lot this past week.
Isn't this little boy image from Squigglefly cute?He is called indian-ajo. Reminds me of my son pretending to be a super hero. He thought he could fly! Thank goodness he didn't hurt himself too badly. He did fall off the top of a chair and bang his mouth on a marble windowsill. Had to go to the ER but he healed up nicely...Boys!!!
The snowman card image is from Whipper Snapper. He has some glitter on the snow but it doesn't show up in the photo. I added some clear glaze to his nose & buttons. Finished it off with a sequin snowflake and a rhinestone. Thanks for coming by today. I hope (fingers crossed) I can get more done this week!
Until then...

Monday, October 18, 2010

Monday,monday... Hello! It's gonna be another great stamping day. It's rainy & gloomy here today.
This card was made for the squigglefly challenge blog. We all were given the same image and had to create a card with it. Not super happy with my results but it is what it is! If you want to see the others creations you can go here. You can get the image for free there and join in the challenge. Who knows, you may just win the prize!
I have another card I am working on for Squigglefly They released some new images this past Saturday. I just have to finish it up and then I will post it here later. See you soon...happy stamping!

TGIF!! Can you believe another week as gone by?!
Today's card features one of Penny Black's hedgehogs. I love them all! They are so cute and make me smile. This is a card we are doing next month in my card class. I can't believe Christmas will be here before we know it. Our city has already started putting up the decorations and I've seen two winter/Christmas commercials already! Too early in my opinion. Takes away some of the "specialness" for me. Our local mall even has some decorations up in some of the stores..
Hope you have a great day!

Thursday, October 14, 2010

Hello! Yes, I am still alive! Sorry I haven't been around. I have been very busy with other stuff and just haven't had much crafting time. I was also filling an order from one of the local animal rescue groups. Now that's done so I hope I get to play today! My new Cricut Imagine arrived last week but I haven't had a whole lot of time to see how it works, etc... A lot of complaints about this machine so that took away some of my excitement. We'll see after I play with it for awhile.
I just love today's card! The colors, the background embossing folder...I bought this stamp at a used stamp sale. I can see me using this one quite a bit! Thanks for stopping today and I promise I will be back real soon!

Wednesday, October 6, 2010

Hi! Happy Wednesday...it's a dark, gloomy, rainy day here. Yuck! But perfect for staying in & stamping so that makes it a great day! I make cards for the birthdays on the Magnolia-licious yahoo group. This one uses a new stamp from the 2010 Autumn collection. Aren't Tilda & Edwin cute? Reminds me of my kids when they were younger. You can find it here. The flowers are actually confetti and the sentiment is a rub on from Pebbles. Hope you have a wonderful day. See you soon.

Sunday, October 3, 2010

Howdy! Hope you are having a great weekend. It's really chilly here today but I am not complaining! I can always put more clothes on to get warm but you can only take off so many... Yesterday I went to the stamping convention in town. It was small..the fall one usually is ...but I was able to get all my Copic refills on the list I have been carrying around forever! None of the local stores carried the "full line" so I wasn't able to find the ones I needed...Jackpot! Made my day!( Doesn't take much! LOL!)
I made 2 Tilda cards last night. One is Circus Tilda riding on the Merry go round. This was a fun one to make..lots of Sparkle & fun colors!
The other one uses a background stamp I picked up at a used stamp sale. I think Bon Voyage Tilda looks cute & ready for fall.
Thanks for coming by today. Enjoy the rest of your day!
PS...you can find Tilda and friends at Magnolia-licious. She has a good selection & great service!

Friday, October 1, 2010

Hi! Long time no see! It has been a crazy week!
It's Saturday and you know what that means? It's new release day at Squigglefly!! I received the new image called "Gday". Isn't it cute? You can purchase it here for only $2.00. I love digis because you can print them out in whatever size you want. And for every $15.00 you spend at Squigglefly you can pick a free image of your choice. There are also some new sentiments this week.
There is a Stamping Convention in town. I wasn't going to go but a friend wanted someone to go with. She is recovering from hip surgery for the 2nd time. She really wants to get out & enjoy the "outside world" so I said I would meet her there. It should be loads of fun. Have a great day and I hope to see you soon.

Sunday, September 26, 2010

Hi! Happy Sunday! Where does the time go? Weekends go by so fast!
My little Linnie girl was spayed on Friday. She isn't feeling her best and I am supposed to keep her from running, jumping, playing & climbing stairs for 10 days...right! Especially when there are other pets around to encourage her! Also they don't want her licking her incision or she will have to get one of those head cones. She is not doing that but is constantly scratching it with her back foot. Don't know what I can possibly do about that!
Well, anyway...cooler weather has arrived and I am feeling much better. The hot weather really puts me through the loop with my MS so I am thankful fall has arrived.
These are a few cards I made for my upcoming card classes. I "cased" the one with the pumpkins made from punches off of Splitcoast. The mice card is a stamp from Whipper Snapper and the bird card is my favorite I think. I like old stuff and I used an page from an old book I have. Little different than cards I usually make but I like it!
Thanks for stopping today! Have a blessed day and I will see you soon!

Thursday, September 23, 2010

OK. It's official. I am a slacker. Don't know what the problem is just not interested in much this week. I have made a few cards for upcoming classes but not much else! I am hoping today to get myself downstairs to my craft area & get busy!
Don't forget about the challenge on the Squigglefly blog. The more people participate, the bigger the prize. So join in & maybe you will win. Have a good day! I am hoping to find my lost mojo. See ya soon!

Monday, September 20, 2010

Monday, monday....Hello! Tilda is in the house! She was feeling very neglected so I just had to make a card with her. Magnolia stamps are some of my most favorite and I always enjoy making cards with them! My friend refers to them as "my girls". They just make me smile. This particular Tilda is called Traveling Tilda. She is out of stock at the moment but is on order at Magnolia-licious.You can also get the luggage stamp there as well. Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful start to your week! PS...the rose on her hat & her socks are exactly the same color...don't know why her socks look different in the photo?!

Saturday, September 18, 2010

It's Saturday and we all know what that means...new releases from Squigglefly!! I used the image called "Makeshift Slide" by Cheryl Alger. Isn't it so cute? Reminds me of my daughter & niece. They loved to play with any kind of little animal...living or pretend!
You should check out the new images by new designer, Marla Shega! I just came from Squigglefly after looking at them. They are just beautiful..so full of detail! Can't decide which one I want to buy first. The puppy ones are very realistic and the fall ones..oh my! Also some great Christmas ones. Take a peek for yourself and have a great day!

Thursday, September 16, 2010

Howdy! What's new in your little corner of the world? Not much here...a little rain but we needed it! Today's cards feature an image from Squigglefly called Star Annie. I love Raggedy Ann type dolls especially primitive looking ones so this image was right up my alley! I colored her two different ways...who says she always has to be red, white & blue? Enjoy your day & I will see you soon. Until then...

Monday, September 13, 2010

Monday, monday....
Hello! How are you today? Good I hope. The weather here today is just gorgeous. Driving down the highway I can see that God has gotten out his paintbrush and started turning the leaves to reds & oranges. Fall is my favorite season!
Today's cards were made with a Stampin Up set I got at a used stamp sale. It is called Infinite Goodness and is a level 2 hostess set. I used my watercolor crayons to color them.
Squigglefly has a challenge going on. You are supposed to make something that has been on your "bucket" list. A technique you have wanted to try or something you have wanted to make. The details are here. The winner will receive a set of Nestibilities. Check it out...who knows you could WIN!
