Howdy!
I'm feeling very emotional today...not sure why...I guess being limited in what you can do, it gives you time to think about things. Not good for me! I am better if I keep busy! Going to craft right after I post this. Crafting is my therapy!!
Ive been seeing a lot of mint green & black in the magazines I have been looking at. I think its going to be the "hot" color combo in fashion for spring. Ive also seen some cards made with these colors. Not a color combo I would readily reach for but I really like it! I used McGill flower punches for the flower and a Cheery Lynnn die for the florish. Added a small punched flower and a rhinestone in each for some bling! I embossed the card with a polka dot embossing folder. The black patterned paper is from Paper Parachute. I buy it when I take classes from Agi but tend to "save" it. Why do we do that? I am such a hoarder of paper,ribbon,embellishments,etc...I guess we all have our weaknesses!
The bear is a digi stamp from The Digistamp Boutique. I love Teddy Bears and he was just so cute! I had some cupcake paper in my stash that I used with him. I added a little glitter to the center of the flower, the bee's wings and the frosting on the cupcake. Added a cherry rhinestone too. Inside it says..."Maybe a cupcake will help". Oh, and the corner punches were made with a Fiskars 3 in 1 corner punch.
Have a great afternoon and Happy Crafting!

Good Afternoon!
Its another gorgeous day here in Ohio. We have to enjoy each day as it comes because we don't know what tomorrow will be like!
I was able to get a little crafty! The Tilda card I am not quite happy with. It matches better than how it looks on here. I added lots of glitter to the bubbles so in real life it is very sparkly. I cut her out and the tub and popped them up. Maybe I will try changing the background paper and see if I like it better.
The other card is a digi stamp from The Digi Stamp Boutique. Isn't this little girl just soo cute? I used papers from October Afternoon. I also punched the corners with a 3 in 1 Fiskars corner punch.

I have someone who is wanting my attention. LOL! Since our one dog is no longer here she has become much more social. She seems to want my attention most when I am on the computer or when I am crafting. Just like the kids used to be! She still won't sit in our laps though...
Enjoy your day!

Hello!
Thanks for coming by and not giving up on me! Its been one heck of a month...2 surgeries and an unrelated hospital stay. I had a hysterectomy last Thursday and am mending quite well. Still have a little pain but Motrin is all I have to take now to get it to go away. Can't drive for 2 weeks... that stinks! But in the big picture..all is well. Hope it starts looking up from here! My Dad just stopped over with lunch and a big bouquet of daffodils. So cheery! My daughter was here to take care of me this weekend. So thankful for friends and family!
I'm heading downstairs to craft..Its seems like its been forever. I hope to have something to share with you tomorrow!

Hello! TGIF!
FINALLY out of the hospital. Who would have thought I would be there from Saturday to Wednesday for a dog bite?! Today I see the hand surgeon to make sure they don't have to open it up and clean it out. Hope not!! But otherwise I'm doing pretty good.
This was a card I made last night for an up coming class. The picture isn't so great because its so gloomy out today...no sun :(
I used a Penny Black Hedgehog stamp..love those hedgies! Added some clear glitter with my Spica pen and used a yellow glaze pen for the center of the flowers. A little Stickles for the bee's wings and some chalk for his cheeks. I used a Fiskars 3 in 1 corner punch for the edges and I embossed some shimmery paper with a flower folder for my background.
Thanks for coming by today. Happy Crafting

Hello. When it rains it pours....
I am in the hospital. Been here for a few days. Can you believe for a dog bite?!
It got infected so fast ( less than 24 hrs). Went out to dinner with friends, they noticed
a red streak Climbing up my arm. By the time I was admitted, it was to my elbow. I didn't
think it was a big deal but my friends insisted I go get it checked out. Thank the Lord they
did or I would have gone home to bed. Might have not gotten up the next day ( shudder)
Hopefully the IV will get it cleared up soon. My "scheduled" surgery for my other issue is
supposed to be next week. I hoping we don't have to change the date! So I don't have any
crafty stuff to show you today. But I will get busy when I get back home. A day without crafting
is like a day without sunshine!!
Have a great day. Happy crafting! See you soon

Hello! TGIF!! Its a gorgeous day here in Ohio. The sun is shining!!
I haven't made a Magnolia Girl card in quite some time. I just love using Tilda on my cards...brings a smile to my face. I don't make them as elaborate as most of the Magnolia lovers do...I prefer them a touch simpler and I like all my cards to be the same size. Easier to store.
This card is made with Tilda holding a daisy. I cut her out & popped her up for dimension. I used some perfect pearls for the center of the flower and gave her shoes a coat of paper glaze to make them shiny. I added a touch of subtle glitter to her hair bow and to the petals of the flowers with a clear glitter spica pen.

This Tilda looked so fun, I had to have her! I colored her with Copic markers and added some clear glaze to the grapes and necklace to make them more dimensional..hard to see in the photo! Also added a little shine to her shoes with the clear glaze pen too. Added a touch of glitter to her ruffles and finished it off with some lime embellishments from Jolees.
Thanks for stopping by today. Enjoy your day!

Good Morning!
This is another kit from Paper Crazy. She is a local gal that has classes & crops and an online store. I just love the vintage look. This is a tin that you put pictures in for each year of school. I plan on making another one for my daughter. I added a little to the embellishments because it was a little too plain for me. I think it turned out super cute. I also found some letter stickers that looked like they would go with it to put their names on the front.
Have a great day...stop back soon!

Monday,monday....
Hello! How are you on this blustery winter day? Snow today...60's on Wed.?! Crazy!!
I have 2 quick cards to share today.
The bike one was made with a Hero Arts set that has the stamps and the die cuts all together. The card is the same as the one on the back of the package. I know...not real creative but I liked it! Thought it would make a good male card!
The flower card was made using EK success punches and nestibilities. The butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch I just got. I love butterflies and really liked this punch. I added a few embossed silver seals and some rhinestones. I think we will do a similar card in an upcoming class.
Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you have a great day!

Hello! TGIF!
I'm still alive! Had my surgery yesterday. A little sore today but doing fine. The only bad part is that it was not successful so I will be having more surgery in the next few weeks....
Isn't this old vintage drawer project neat? A local gal that has crops & classes designs kits you can buy. She is in to vintage and that is right up my alley. My house is very "vintage". This is designed to act like a scrapbook or way to showcase your photos. There are different divider cards and all you do is put photos that correspond to that category behind them. She made hers for a specific year. I am keeping mine for all years. Now I just have to round up so photos to put in it then I can display it.
Thanks for stopping by. Sorry I haven't posted in quite awhile but I just wasn't up to it. Hope you understand... After a nap I hope to get down to my craft area and create for awhile. We will see.
Until next time...
Have a great day!
