Howdy! Guess what I was playing with last night? My Cricut. I have been seeing some really cute flower "arrangements" and had to give it a try. I found the container in the dollar spot @ Target. I used Walk in My Garden for all the flowers. The bee was cut from the Create a Critter cartridge. I LOVE that cartridge. It is one of my favorites if not the favorite one so far.
The owl card was also made with the Create a Critter cartridge. I used some scraps that were hanging around and the sentiment is a rub on. The flower is a Martha Stewart sticker.
Thanks for stopping today. My job for the day is to get this house cleaned & back in to order.
Then I hope to play so more.
Have a great day! =)

Hello! Hope today is a great day for you so far! I skipped Weight Watchers this morning. I just couldn't face that scale! I have gained back about 7 lbs of what I have lost. I am an emotional eater so when stuff bugs me I reach for the cookies or candy. I HAVE to get back on track or all my hard work will be down the drain. I'm going to try really hard this week and see if I can turn myself around.
Today's card was made with a stamp I bought at our local convention this past weekend. It is by Lorilies Designs. I paper pieced her hat & her stole. I also popped up her flowers and added a gem to each for a little accent. The corner flowers were made with my Nellie Snellen punches. I love those and think I will use them a lot!
So, apparently my "bird friend" is a brown headed cowbird. From what I read they are not the nicest of birds. They lay their eggs in other birds nests and leave the raising of their babies to the owner of the nest. Hopefully our bird has moved on. We have had quite a bit of rain the last few days and I haven't seen or heard him. Fingers crossed that he found someone else's car to peck on!
Have a great day & Happy crafting!

Hello & Happy Sunday. This will be a quick post as a thunderstorm has just started here full of lightening. My dogs are freakin out and both want to sit in my lap.
Yesterday was a very fun day. We went to the Stamping Convention in Akron, Ohio. It was like being a kid in a candy store! So many things to look at! We stayed longer than we planned on (MY FAULT) but had a great day. At least I did!

This is a Penny Black stamp. I love these little hedgehogs. They make me smile & I really LOVE ladybugs so it was a perfect combo. I used a rub on for the sentiment. I colored them with markers and added some chalk for their rosy cheeks. I also used my clear glaze pen to accent their noses and the spots on the ladybugs. Heading downstairs to play with some of my new goodies. See you soon!

Hello...Sorry no new card to show you today. I am going down to craft now so I will have something for tomorrow. I went to my daughter's college yesterday to spend her 21 st birthday with her. We had fun!

Does anyone know what kind of bird this is? He has been pecking at our cars every day! Drives me nuts...tap,tap,tap... for hours at a time! I go out & scare him away but as soon as I go inside he comes back.

Thanks for dropping by..sorry to disappoint you with nothing to share but come back soon ya hear!

Happy Sunday friends...New Tildas are in the house!! My spring kit arrived and they are so cute! ( I say that about all of them but I can't help it, they ARE all cuties!) I really like this stone window that came with the kit. I colored it with my Copics then added clear glaze to each rock to accent them. Tilda's dress has a subtle sparkle & I used Stickles for her bow. The flowers were made with my Nellie Snellen flower punches and the swirls are another punch I have. The border & corners were made with a Martha Stewart border punch. I also added a sheer bow & some pearls to accent. Thanks for stopping by today. It is so cold here in Ohio. One day it was in the 80's then the next in the 40s! CRAZY.... See you soon!

Hello & Happy Thursday! I have a quick card to show you...The stamp is by Penny Black. I used up some scraps I had. Added a paper ribbon and some buttons. A touch of glitter and voila...a cute Happy Birthday card. Have a great day! I am still being visited by that stupid bird. Yesterday I pulled in the driveway and before I could even get out of the car he landed on my mirror & started pecking away! I reached for my cell phone to take a picture and I must have startled him because he fell off the mirror . Well, today he is on my son's truck (freshly washed) pecking & pooping away...CRAZY! Why do I seem to have all the "wildlife problems" at my house? But, I love animals so....

Bad Girl!

Ok...so that toy lasted a whole 30 minutes...Now she keeps running to the trash can & barking because I threw away all the stuffing & the squeaker! Little Stinker! I can't believe she tore it all apart. She usually doesn't do that.
No card today. I am wiped out from swimming and still have to go to the dentist in a little bit. Hopefully when I get home I will get some time for "playing."

Hello...I am happy to say the sun is shining today and it is wonderful! Still a little chilly to open the windows but I will take it! We have had several gloomy days lately & I am ready for the sun!
Check out my post below to see what started my day! LOL
This was a quick card I made with my Cricut & SCAL. I used a Peachy Keen stamp for the face. I just look at it and can't help
smiling!

This is a bird cage stamp from Hero Arts that I purchased on our stamp trip this weekend. As soon as I saw it I knew what I wanted to create with it. It turned out almost just as I had imagined! All the papers I used have some sparkle to them. The birds were made with the new SU 2 step bird punch. I added some small pearls, a few brads and a touch of sparkly ribbon. I think it will make a great wedding card or anniversary card . Thanks for taking time to visit me!

Guess what I woke up to this morning? TAP TAP TAP... Sounded like a wood pecker. That went on for quite awhile then I looked outside and saw this birdie pecking the heck out of my car! I don't know what kind it is but it has been at it all morning. He puffs up his chest, flutters his wings and then pecks my car. I don't know if he is fighting his reflection or what. My car now is all full of bird poop...not happy. I keep shooing him away but he just comes right back. CRAZY!!!
Tap...Tap...Tap...

Hello & thanks for stopping by! Yesterday I had so much fun...a group of ladies & I went on a stamping trip about 3 1/2 hrs. away from our hometown. We visited 5 shops. We had a quick lunch and then went out for dinner on the way home. I can't wait to play with all my new goodies! I don't know which one to use first!
The owl card is a digital stamp from Pink Cat Studio. Isn't it a FUN card? I just love that image! The strawberry card was made with my Cricut. Same strawberries as the last card but a little different layout. The sentiment is a rub on.
Enjoy your day & I will see you soon!

Hello! Playing with my Cricut today. The strawberry card was made with the Preserves cartridge and the others were made with the Give a Hoot cartridge. Using some of my scraps. The chain and circle border punches are from EK Success and the grass one is Martha Stewart. We are having a used stamp sale tonight at my stamping group. Getting rid of some stuff & hoping to come home with some new goodies. Hope you have a great day!

Hi crafty friends! A quick post today... This is a card I made last night. I was playing around with my Cricut and cut out this old fashion phone from the Sentimentals cartridge. I thought it might be something cute for Tilda to sit on! I used some of my favorite colors again...pink & turquoise. Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great day!

Monday, Monday.... Hello. I hope your Easter was wonderful! Ours was quiet. My Dad & Step mom came for dinner. My daughter wasn't able to join us & my son was working so he came a little bit later. They brought me some beautiful tulips. I just love spring flowers...daffodils, tulips & hyacinths. And, so much for my "diet"! All I can say is Coconut Cream Pie from Baker's Square....YUM! (and I had more than 1 piece..yikes)
I was on a Magnolia kick this weekend. I just love these "little girls" Something about them is just too cute. You can purchase these from Diana. Her store logo is on the right hand side of my blog. Just click on it and it will take you to her store. But I warn you! They are addicting. They keep coming out with new ones and they just get cuter & cuter! Thanks for stopping today. See ya!

Hi friends! Hope you are getting some of the beautiful weather where you live. Today the sun is shining, the birds are singing and my daffodils are blooming! What could be better than that? I didn't make any cards yesterday because I got my Nellie Snellen punches in the mail yesterday.
(I had preordered them awhile ago from 7 kids college fund.) I spent my craft time making my own flowers. I had so much fun! I plan on making more today so I have them ready to go when I want to use them. It's so nice to make the flower in exactly the colors I want. And I can use up my scraps..not that I could ever possibly use up all my scraps! I swear they just keep multiplying! The only "downer" to these punches is I wish the embossing part would be a little more noticeable. I'm going to experiment more and see what I can figure out. Maybe if I mist them lightly with water it would help. Well, enjoy your day & I will see you soon.
