Hi! Happy Sunday! Where does the time go? Weekends go by so fast!
My little Linnie girl was spayed on Friday. She isn't feeling her best and I am supposed to keep her from running, jumping, playing & climbing stairs for 10 days...right! Especially when there are other pets around to encourage her! Also they don't want her licking her incision or she will have to get one of those head cones. She is not doing that but is constantly scratching it with her back foot. Don't know what I can possibly do about that!
Well, anyway...cooler weather has arrived and I am feeling much better. The hot weather really puts me through the loop with my MS so I am thankful fall has arrived.
These are a few cards I made for my upcoming card classes. I "cased" the one with the pumpkins made from punches off of Splitcoast. The mice card is a stamp from Whipper Snapper and the bird card is my favorite I think. I like old stuff and I used an page from an old book I have. Little different than cards I usually make but I like it!
Thanks for stopping today! Have a blessed day and I will see you soon!

OK. It's official. I am a slacker. Don't know what the problem is just not interested in much this week. I have made a few cards for upcoming classes but not much else! I am hoping today to get myself downstairs to my craft area & get busy!
Don't forget about the challenge on the Squigglefly blog. The more people participate, the bigger the prize. So join in & maybe you will win. Have a good day! I am hoping to find my lost mojo. See ya soon!

Monday, monday....Hello! Tilda is in the house! She was feeling very neglected so I just had to make a card with her. Magnolia stamps are some of my most favorite and I always enjoy making cards with them! My friend refers to them as "my girls". They just make me smile. This particular Tilda is called Traveling Tilda. She is out of stock at the moment but is on order at Magnolia-licious.You can also get the luggage stamp there as well. Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful start to your week! PS...the rose on her hat & her socks are exactly the same color...don't know why her socks look different in the photo?!

It's Saturday and we all know what that means...new releases from Squigglefly!! I used the image called "Makeshift Slide" by Cheryl Alger. Isn't it so cute? Reminds me of my daughter & niece. They loved to play with any kind of little animal...living or pretend!
You should check out the new images by new designer, Marla Shega! I just came from Squigglefly after looking at them. They are just beautiful..so full of detail! Can't decide which one I want to buy first. The puppy ones are very realistic and the fall ones..oh my! Also some great Christmas ones. Take a peek for yourself and have a great day!

Howdy! What's new in your little corner of the world? Not much here...a little rain but we needed it! Today's cards feature an image from Squigglefly called Star Annie. I love Raggedy Ann type dolls especially primitive looking ones so this image was right up my alley! I colored her two different ways...who says she always has to be red, white & blue? Enjoy your day & I will see you soon. Until then...

Monday, monday....
Hello! How are you today? Good I hope. The weather here today is just gorgeous. Driving down the highway I can see that God has gotten out his paintbrush and started turning the leaves to reds & oranges. Fall is my favorite season!
Today's cards were made with a Stampin Up set I got at a used stamp sale. It is called Infinite Goodness and is a level 2 hostess set. I used my watercolor crayons to color them.
Squigglefly has a challenge going on. You are supposed to make something that has been on your "bucket" list. A technique you have wanted to try or something you have wanted to make. The details are here. The winner will receive a set of Nestibilities. Check it out...who knows you could WIN!

Hello! Sorry no new card to post yet today. I wanted to have a patriotic one since today is the 9th anniversary of 9/11. It doesn't seem like 9 yrs. have gone by to me! I have a horrible memory but the events of that day are so etched into my brain that I will NEVER FORGET!
I remember exactly what I was doing that day & how on edge I was. I'm sure it is something that no one will have trouble remembering. Thank you to all the men & women in the military past or present who fight to keep us safe. Have a good day and I hope to get some card making time in this afternoon!

Look who was waiting for me after stamp group tonight! It's so nice to be loved!!!

Good morning! It's been a busy week around here! Not much time for crafting...but I had to get my act together because tonight is my turn to provide cards & materials for our stamp group. I hope they like them. We are doing 5 different ones! It is very "dark" around here today. Not complaining though because it is a comfortable temperature. So..my pictures aren't the best! These cards were made with a digital freebie but I cannot remember where I found it. It is a simple card and I used an embossed bazzill paper for the background. I have an apple scent that I am going to bring so they can make their cards smell yummy! reminds me that my favorite season is right around the corner. Thanks for stopping today. Have a good one!

Monday, monday...

Hello! Isn't it great to have a 3 day weekend?! Lots of extra time to enjoy doing what you love! Today's card is for the Squigglefly Challenge. We had to make a fall card with rolled flowers. That was something I had ever tried but it was pretty easy. You can find out how to make your own here. I thought this image was just too cute! I am a sucker for animals! Right now we have a stray kitten we are feeding. It will not let me touch it but I am hoping that soon I can so we can get it to a shelter & find a home. It is NOT coming into my house...it is already a zoo! But I don't want to see the poor kitty stuck outside in the winter. There are so many strays around here & they just keep having babies. sad...
Well enjoy whats left of your weekend...see ya soon!

Hello! I got to make another Tilda card!!! I missed making cards with her. I have just been so busy & have other cards I need to get done too. When I saw this stamp by Whipper Snapper I knew it would go perfect with "my girls". This card is going out as one of the birthday cards for someone in the Magnolia-licious yahoo group. I am on the team that sends them out on behalf of the group. I hope whoever gets it will like it! I also used one of Magnolias Doohickeys to cut the lace border. They are very nice and I hope to acquire some more when I get some extra money. Thanks for stopping. Hope your holiday weekend is filled with all good things!

Good Morning! How are you today? I was playing around with my stuff trying to make a vintage looking card. Not sure it turned out exactly as what I pictured... The stamp is a Tim Holtz stamp. I used an old book for the background paper & to make the flower. I distressed it with an"old paper" distress ink pad. I had a little black key on there but changed it out for silver. You couldn't even see the black one when it was there. I found these "lock & key" charms in the wedding dept. @ Hobby Lobby. I LOVE old things...I even have pictures (a whole bunch!) of people I don't know on my walls. They are from the late 1800's to early 1900's. I especially like the little girls who have the great big bows in their hair. I even have one in an oval frame with the bubble glass of an old looking soldier. Very cool... My husband thinks that is totally weird to have photos of people we don't know adorn our walls. I don't care. I think they are beautiful. Until next time...

Who let the dogs out..woof..woof..
Hello! Our local craft store had a sale on Cricut cartridges for 19.00. I was able to get the Paper Pups. It's a cute cartridge! So, last night I played with it and made these cards.
Stay cool today...our temps are still supposed to be in the 90's but tomorrow a cold front is coming through and going to bring the temps way down. Can't wait to shut off the air & enjoy some fresh air.
Thanks for visiting today. See you soon!

Hello there! I am so happy...I finally got to make a card with "my girls"! I just love Magnolia stamps. They are so fun to work with! This Tilda has gone shopping! She can be purchased here.
The boutique window can also be found here. The flowers were made with my Nellie Snellen flower punches (love those). The colors really do match but it doesn't look like it in this picture. I colored the purse charm with a Copic marker so it would match better. I also added a little sparkle & some clear glaze to accent the jewelry. Thanks for stopping. Have a good one!
