Happy New Year!
Santa brought me the flu for Christmas and I am just now starting to feel better. It is bitter cold here and my kids are planning on going to downtown Cleveland to celebrate with Drew Cary and all other kinds of cool stuff. Its supposed to be like Times square in New York. They are gonna freeze their buckets off! I'm gonna stay home and watch it on TV.
I started working on some Thank you cards. This little doggie is from Paper Smooches. So is the Thanks die. I plan on making some more tonight.

I'm still around! Just been caught up in getting Christmas presents done. I also haven't been my best lately. This time of year brings out the blues in me. I HATE that! But it is what it is. I get so overwhelmed and not feeling well on top of that adds to it. I cant wait to get back to creating just for myself. I guess I just got burned out. I have tons of ideas swimming in my brain. Hopefully I can get to them soon. I have one more project that I promised to someone and when that's done I'm gonna do the happy dance!! Wishing you all the best for the holidays. Hello! Long time no see! I'm just so burned out lately that I haven't been posting. I have been making stuff but it is for Christmas presents so I can't put them on here in case my family looks at my blog!
I hope to get my mojo back soon. I have several things I can't wait to make...my scrapbook of my trip tops the list! I've been collecting stuff to use in it and that will be a very fun project!

Hello! Well my husbands Christmas card was rejected by him. He said it HAS to have a bus somewhere on the card so I am revamping it...I will show you it when its done.
My friends birthday is today and she went on the trip with me. I thought she would like this card. I'm really enjoying this stamp set. I'm going to use some of them in my scrapbook.
 I'm hoping that today brings NO new wasps in the house. I have killed over 100 in the last few days. The bug guy said it will take 2-5 days for them to be completely gone. I hope so. I keep catching the cat playing with one and I'm so afraid she's going to get stung. Have a great day and be safe while trick or treating tonight.TTFN

Just wanted to share two of the cards we made in my class. For some reason it wont let me crop & edit them but I wanted to show you anyway. The top card we used Perfect pearls for the leaves. It turned out very pretty! The bottom card I introduced them to water coloring with wax crayons.

I have returned from my trip of a lifetime! Still cant believe I was there...England, France, Spain & Portugal. Made a lot of memories with my friends. Took a ton of pictures. Cant wait to make my scrap book. But it wont be until after the holidays probably. Too many other projects to get done. I hope you have been well and crafting away! I am having withdrawal! But it was a good break. I was getting burned out after making all my kits to sell etc.
This is a card I made for my friend's birthday since we would be celebrating it on the ship.
Went to an all day crop on Saturday and got started on my Christmas cards. I will post one of them tomorrow. Thanks for coming by. (if anybody is still out there. LOL!)

Long time no see!
I have been working on a Girls of Yesteryear card kit. Its finally done! I have just been so busy doing stuff for my upcoming trip and classes that have to be done before I go, that I have been neglecting other areas of my life. Plus I have been quite stressed out that some days I cant function. Gotta snap out of this funk..aint got no time for that!
This is a cute stamp by Whipper Snapper Stamps. I've had it for quite awhile but never used it. Added some clear glaze to his feet and beak. I think the balloons would look cute if they were popped up. Might have to try that!
Hope your summer went well. Cant believe how fast it flew by..... CRAZY!!

Hello! Happy Wednesday!
I had a rush order this week. A friend needed a scrapbook for her Sister. Her dog is dying and she wanted to give her a scrapbook. Very sad story. It was a fairly young dog. These are just a few of the pages in the book. I had another nice poem in it as well.
 Our other friend's daughter was on vacation with the family and got a message from the dog sitter that one of her dogs got out and was killed by a car. Sad sad stories..feel so bad for them all!
Other than that I haven't gotten much else done. Need to get to work. Have a lot of deadlines fast approaching! Hope the rest of your day is wonderful.

I'm glad you stopped by today. I was playing around with my Tim Holtz typewriter die and this is what I came up with. Simple but I like how it turned out. I added some stamped flourishes on the background because it needed something. And yes, the picture is crooked. I am too lazy to take another one! I have been battling another darn headache for several days now. UGH! But this too shall pass! Hope your day is great!!

Haven't been crafting much..kids moving back home...one leaving again..house bursting at the seams with all of their stuff! Its starting to settle down now. One kids stuff will be gone Saturday and the one that's staying finally got it at least down in the basement That's where my "happy place" is so I'm having them move it to the other side at least. I LOVE my kids, don't get me wrong...once they are gone and you are used to that, it takes some adjusting when they come back. KWIM?
 Any way...Here are 2 cards I made recently. The monster card was for my grand nephews 2 yr. old birthday. He's growing so fast. Not a baby any more. It was fun to watch him eat his cake and open his presents. Kids really do make everything much more fun!

 I hope your summer is going well. It has been very hot here lately and it's sucking all my energy. I am so thankful for air conditioning!! I remember when we didn't have it..not a fond memory!
 I have been so busy with things I have to do that I haven't been updating lately. Sorry about that.
I'm not complaining though...it is all helping me pay for my trip. Yippee!
This is a cute digi I found on pinterest. Not sure who designed her but she was just so cute. I couldn't wait to color her up. The cards are pretty simple but I wanted the image to stand out.
Both my kids are moving next week. My oldest is moving back home for a little bit ( I have a feeling it isn't gonna be a week or two...) and my youngest is moving closer to home. She called all upset today. Her room mate moved out already but failed to inform my daughter and the 3rd room mate that they have to be out by the 26. She can't get into her new place until the 1st. So I'm gonna have all her "stuff" here as well. I LOVE them to pieces but they are stressing this momma out!

Hope you are having a great holiday weekend. I have been very busy trying to make money for my "trip of a lifetime"! This is a sneak peek of a camera mini album class that I will be having soon. Havent set a date yet but will have a limited number of seats available.

 I also have some card kits still available. The kits include all the supplies needed except adhesive and an ink pad for sponging the edges (optional) There are 4-5 cards in each  depending on which kit you buy. They are all different. Here's a sample card from each kit.

Sorry haven't been posting. I was working on a big project and it is FINALLY done! YAY! There were about 18 pages in this wedding scrapbook but I am just showing you a few. I hope she likes it. It took way longer than I thought but  we are good now. Wedding is tomorrow...
I plan to clean off my desk later. It is a total mess! Then I have a few other projects on my list to do. I think I'm gonna do a project I've been wanting to do first. Maybe I will get some of my mojo back..
 My basement ceiling sprung a leak during the last bad storm. So glad I was down there at the time. It was right over the table I use to display my finished projects. If I wouldn't have been there they would have gotten ruined. Its never leaked there before...My husband said put a bucket it there. It will stop leaking when the rain stops. Ya think?! Guess I will ask my dad to look at it. I'm not complaining though. Lots of people have experienced flooded yards and basements so a little leak is nothing to complain about compared to that!

I just listed my first item on EBay...It took me a looonng time! Then I thought I deleted it. Its hard to teach an old dog new tricks! Anyhow...Wish me luck!
No, its not this but if the auction goes well I may make some to sell. This is my first mixed media canvas with the new Prima Doll stamps from Julia Nutting. Love these stamps. so fun to "play" with!

Hello my long lost blog friends! I have been super busy and keep forgetting to put something on here! These 2 cards are from my Sympathy kit. The tree was cut with my Cameo. Love that machine!
I am working on 2 projects that someone ordered. They are with the doll stamps and they are dance related. Not done yet but the tutus on them are super cute! I will post a picture when they are done.

I am still working hard to make things to sell for my trip! I am currently working on a men's card kit (not vintage) since the other one sold out! I am also working on a sympathy card kit.
 I started making some framed items for sale as well. These are the first ones
 I have gotten done. I sure hope they sell! I have a whole big bag of frames and lots of ideas! Just need time to work on them. The weather roller coaster affects my MS more than usual so it is causing me to rest instead of craft. not happy about that but what are you gonna do?! My trip will be here before you know it..so exciting!!! I have never been on a real vacation and I am looking forward to spending time with my friends. Hope you are having a great weekend so far. I have been busy, busy, busy... sold most of my kits to raise money for my trip. Designing a few more and making some things to sell. These are a few cards I made lately. I think the Dream one is my favorite. Hope to craft later after I get some house work done. I have been neglecting that lately so I at least have to get some of it done before I can work on more stuff. The weather here has been CRAZY. One day in the 80's with the air on, next day so cold had to turn the heat on. The sun is out today but haven't been out to see what the temp. is. Have a great day.
