Hello & TGIF! I have been so busy this week with almost no time to stamp! I can't wait for life to "slow down" a little. We have to attend a funeral for a very dear friend tomorrow. Not looking forward to that at all. In the last 15 months we have had 9 deaths. Some were very close relatives and very close friends. Too many! It never gets easier that's for sure. This friend had bone cancer and I know she was suffering. I feel bad for her only daughter as she is pregnant right now with her 2nd child and was very close to her Mom. Sad...
Well, enough for the downer. This is supposed to be my HAPPY place! Today's cards were made with a stamp I bought on our fun weekend last week. One of the classes we took was by Agi from Paper Parachute. I just loved this stamp the moment I saw it! You can't tell in the picture but there are teeny crystals for accents. The purple card has some tiny pearls also. I purchased 2 other flower stamps from her & cannot wait to create something with them. If you ever attend an event and she is teaching there, sign up. You will not be disappointed! She is a sweet, sweet lady! She flew in from Oregon to be there.
Thanks for stopping...see you soon!

Hi! What a fun,fun weekend I had!! It went by oh so quick...too quick! We crafted, took classes, ate, shopped & laughed till our sides hurt. We actually got reported to security for being too loud.
When I got home I was sooo exhausted that I slept for 15 hrs. I can't believe I could sleep that long.
This is a stamp I bought this weekend by Outlines. She was so fun to color and "accessorize" with "jewelry". I used Smooch on her lips & eyes. What a fun product! I can't wait to ink her up & make some more.
Thanks for stopping today. See you soon!

Hello! Quick post today as I have lots to do! I have to pack...I am going on a "girls weekend" to scrap & stamp all weekend. I am also taking several classes there. Should be loads of fun but I won't relax until I figure out what I am bringing & get it packed! Today's card is from My Favorite Things. I used all scraps on this card...Yay! not that it put a dent in them.... I cut out the teacup & popped it up. The dots are glossy which was done with paper glaze. I used a teeny brad for his nose & some puffy paint for the tail. Thanks for stopping today. Hope you have a good one!

Monday, monday.... Good Morning. Hope you had a fantastic weekend! I went to see the musical "Chicago" and it was wonderful! I love to go to the theater. Wicked is still my favorite musical though. Today's card is made with a stamp from Pink Cat studio. My picture didn't turn out so well. It is a little gloomy out. I bought this stamp set last year and just got it out again. For the paper I used, it is from my scrap bin (woohoo). I have soooo many scraps!! I used the top note die from SU and sponged a little brown ink around the edges. Added a touch of my clear glitter pen and my clear glaze pen and I was done. Have a great day!

Good Morning & Happy Saturday! It's a dreary winter day here but I plan on creating all day so I can't wait to get down to my craft room. I have so many "projects" to finish and I want to get to some FUN things. My Maggies are feeling neglected! Today's card is one we will be doing at my next class. It is Henry Mouse from Whiff of Joy. He is just too cute! The background paper is silver mirrored cardstock so it was hard to not get a reflection! I used the Martha Stewart heart border punch on this. I also added a heart charm. Henry's heart is colored with my clear glitter spica pen so it is very glittery. Sorry, it doesn't look that way in the photo. Hope you have a great day and get in some crafting time! See you soon!
PS. *Sharon* That bird paper is from Die Cuts with a View...hope that helps!!

Hi and Happy Thursday! Today's card was made with my Cricut & the Wildcard cartridge. I have had this bird paper for a little while to use in an upcoming class but wasn't sure what I wanted to do with it. When I found this bird stamp, then I knew! It is from Hero Arts. I think it is a fun card that I would love to receive in the mail for no reason! Hope the ladies like it too... We get together once a month to make 4 cards at my class and then go to Panera afterwards for dinner. It's a lot of fun and I get to make a little spending money to buy more goodies! Hope you have a "Happy Day". The sun is shining here. Hopefully some of the icicles on my roof will melt! See you soon!

Hello & Happy Wed afternoon! I had some errands to run this morning so I couldn't post until now. Yesterday I had to clean & do household chores so no crafting for me =( but today is another day & I am headed down to my craft room right now! I am hoping I have not shared this card yet. We made this at my last card class. Thought it was fitting for this time of year...flu & cold season. Nothing fancy but I do like the blues & browns together. I got this stamp at a used stamp sale. The date on it was 1984! Long before I even knew stamping existed! Have a great day & I will see you tomorrow!

Monday, Monday.... Today is going to be a great day! I can feel it! I am so excited because I won a contest Suzanne Dean was running on her blog Scrap Bitz. I won some paper and a gift certificate to 7 Kids College Fund. It was all about the chore we hate the most & why. So, I told her about my chore & my squirrel "friend" You can read about it at
http://www.ScrapBitz.blogspot.com. At least something positive has come out of my squirrel adventures for once!
Today's card is made with another stamp from Pink Gem Designs. I have just discovered this company & I have to say their images are so cute. And we all know I love CUTE! I used all scraps from my scrap bin (YAY!) to do this card. I also used my Top Note die from SU. Love that..so glad I bought it..I use it all the time! Colored the image with Copic markers and sponged around the edges with a pink chalk ink.
Thanks for stopping today. I have to clean my house. Took down the tree and now everything looks so bare =( Even though we have an artificial tree there are "needles" everywhere all the way upstairs to the crawl space. I have to rearrange & put everything back where it goes. Now I am ready for spring...done with the cold & snow! LOL! Have a great day!

Hi Friends! I figured since it is still cold & snowy that I could still make snowman cards. This image is from www.pinkgemdesigns.com. Isn't she just the cutest? I need to make a few thank you cards so I thought I would use her. I colored her with my Copics and cut her out. Popped her up on a panel I cut with my Top Note Die from SU. The rest of the papers are from my scrap bin. I added 3 small buttons to the front of her. I used my clear glaze pen on the flowers and my clear Spica glitter pen to add lots of sparkle. It's subtle and doesn't show up in the photo. IRL though it's very sparkly! Thanks is a rub on from Archivers. Well, I am on a mission today to take down my Christmas tree. I don't usually have it up this long so it's time! Have a great day!

Good Morning on this cold winter day! We are expecting some major snow that is headed this way. However, I will believe it when I see it. The weather man never seems to get it quite right! LOL!
Today's card is featuring a "grown up" Tilda from the Winter kit. I do no know her official name yet but I'm sure she will be available to purchase from Magnolia-licious when she is. I think I like the "younger" Tildas better. They are all cute though. I colored her with my copics and carefully cut her out. I popped her up on a piece of card stock that was cut with the new Martha Stewart Pansy border punch. I think I will be using that alot! I likey! I embossed the background with a Sissix floral embossing folder. To finish her off I added 2 teeny tiny rhinestones for her earrings. She had to have earrings now that she is growing up! LOL! I wanted to get my daughters ears pierced when she was a baby but my husband absolutely forbid it! He didn't want me "damaging" her body until she was old enough to consent. Well, I waited till she was around age 4. He was NOT happy with me. She has since let them close up. But I love little girls with earrings. =)

Hi! Another Magnolia card today. I just love these stamps! This one is from the Winter Kit. I do not know what her name is but I'm sure Diana from Magnolia-licious will be carrying her soon. I cut her out and popped her up for dimension. I used my clear Spica glitter pen to add some sparkle to the card. Nowadays it's all about the "sparkles" with me...cute & sparkly! The border punch & heart punch are from Martha Stewart. I sponged around the edge and added to gems to finish it off. Thanks for stopping on this cold winter day. Have a cup of hot chocolate for me and stay warm!

Monday,Monday... A fresh start with a new year and a new week. I need that. Last year was a very rough year and I'm looking forward and trying to leave all that stuff behind!

Today's card is made with another stamp set from Hero Arts. Not sure why the little girl looks like she has white lines in her hair because IRL she doesn't. I embossed all the images so maybe it is a glare. I added 2 little flower gems to her shirt and a small brad to the top of the boy's hat.

Finished it off with some ribbon & a flower. Thanks for dropping in. The snow has finally arrived here. So far we have a couple of inches. Last night it was so glittery that it didn't even look real. Reminded me of Diamond Dust. Very pretty! (But remember, I don't like snow! Unless we are snowed in and have nothing to do but stamp LOL!)

Good Morning! Just a quick post before I get ready for church. I am on an owl kick lately. They are so cute & whimsical! This stamp is by Hero Arts. I colored it with my Copics. I chalked around the edges to soften it. The punch I used is from EK success. You can't really see it well but in the middle of the flowers I used Martha Stewart beads...they are very tiny & come in all sort of colors. I thought it would add a different kind of texture to my cards. I added a teeny tiny brad to the owls tummy too. Thanks for stopping. I hope you have a wonderful day. Stay warm!

Greetings from cold & snowy Ohio! Today I am staying in & keeping warm!! I just want to craft & listen to my book on tape. It's 11 discs long & I have to have finished it by next Friday for our book club. So, I best get going on that!
I am still working on the animal rescue cards. Should have been done by now but with the holidays I got behind. Several more to go and then I will be finished with that project!
I want to play with my new gypsy. I did make 1 card with it so far. I was trying to "weld" the images. I guess it turned out OK but I want to see if I can some how make the "frame" thicker. Haven't figured that out. Also haven't figured out how to put a picture in the middle of my post. I see it added it above. I am not a "directions" girl. Just ask my friend Linda! LOL! I am better with learning by "seeing" not by reading. I am also geographically challenged. I could get lost in my own backyard. I am no longer allowed to even hold the map on any of our stamping "adventures"! Thank goodness for GPS. However, if it misguided me I would be lost & unable to get back home!! Well, Happy Crafting! Stay warm & I will see you soon!
