I have been working on a mini scrapbook for my friends birthday! She doesn't have any children and says that her cats are her kids...She has 5 and 2 kittens! CRAZY!!
But they are all very sweet. I still have to finish the book and then put all the pages in. I'm going to give it to her tonight.Hope she likes it..I know she will.

Good morning!
Here are 2 of the cards we did at my last class.
I love the bumblebee trio. Its from Whipper Snapper. I LOVE their stamps..cute & whimsical. Added a punched out flower to finish it off.
The beehive card was some of the ladies favorite card they did that night. We stamped and cut out the beehive twice to pop it up and give it dimension. Added a bee sticker to finish that card up. The background was done with a Tim Holtz embossing folder. I am on the hunt for it and cant find it in our local stores. So, thankfully my friend let me borrow it!

Monday, monday....
Hello! I finally have a card to show you. Still sick but hopefully getting better. At least my vision is better so now I can see better to craft.
This card was made in a color combo that is not in my usual repertoire. But..I think I like it! Its cheerful. It was made with a Sizzix flower die and some other dies from Cheery Lynn & Spellbinders. The big gems are from Martha Stewart.

Sorry I haven't been around. I have been very sick and having trouble with my vision. It's making it very hard to craft right now.i have soo much to do for my class next week so say a little prayer that I get on the mend quickly! It seems like its been one thing after another this year...ready for it to get better :)

Quick card made with Sizzix leaf die and some textured paper. Added some twine and clear skittles and it is done! Not much crafting this week....

Monday, monday....
I am so grateful it is a new week, a new day... A fresh start! Aren't you?
I might have shared this before but I have this "reminder" on my mirror...

This is the beginning of a new day.
God has given me this day to use as I will.
I can waste it or grow in its light
and be of service to others.
But what I do with this day is important because
I have exchanged one day of my life for it.
When tomorrow comes, today will be gone forever.
I hope I will not regret the price I paid for it.

My card today was a super quick one. Great for when you need to make a card FAST! I used a Hero Arts stamp set that comes with the dies to cut the images out. I used some scraps that were laying on my desk. The striped tape is from Target in the office/school supply section. It comes in 4 different color packs. I'm loving the washi tapes that are out there...fun to use!

And thanks for letting me vent the other day...I like to keep this place as happy as I can but you know every once in awhile you can get "overwhelmed" with junk in your life and just have to get it out there! Nothing I can do about most of it and I refuse to let it ruin my day today! I have some serious creating to do...hee hee.
