Happy New Year's Eve! Today's card features another one of Mo's digital pencil images. Makes me think "Poor puppy"! Made it with paper from my scrap bin. I added glitter to the hearts on her shirt and to her hair bow. Two little brads for her buttons. The hearts are from a Martha Stewart punch and the scallop frame was cut with my Nestibilities. I also used my clear glaze pen to accent the dog's nose & collar. Have a great night tonight. Hope you can stay awake until midnight! Can you believe it's almost a new year? The last one flew by lightening fast! Sort of scary... Is it because we are getting older or do you think it goes faster for everyone? Sure makes me want to do the things I love as life is too short. I am looking forward to a better year! We have had so many near & dear people pass away in the last 1 1/2 yrs! I am ready for some good news for a change. Hope 2010 brings it! Happy New Year!

Good Morning! It is 10:15 am here & I am still in my pajamas! I was supposed to go to WW this morning but just needed a day to chill...no running around, staying home and crafting. Today's image is from Mo's digital pencil. I love her digital stamps. They are so cute & a lot of them show "emotion" and I think that is nice. I colored this with my Copic markers and added glitter with my Spica clear glitter & my Sakura glitter pen. It is pretty sparkly but it's not showing up in the photo. Not sure why. It is kinda gloomy outside today, maybe that's why?... I used a metallic silver gel pen to color the skate blades. Finished it off with some glittery ribbon and some snowflakes that are actually confetti. And I chalked their cheeks so you could tell they were a little chilly. Hope you stay warm today and get some crafting time in. Until next time....

Hello! Happy Tuesday. Well, the snow finally made an appearance here. Not bad, just a couple of inches. Today it's the big fluffy flakes. They really are pretty to watch but I am not a big fan of the cold that goes with it.
I finally had time to sit down & craft! My Magnolia stamps were feeling neglected. This Tilda is from the Winter kit. I do not know her "official" name. I think she is so cute . Reminds me of my daughter when she was little with her pinafore dress. I used a Martha Stewart around the page punch with the matching corner punch. They were clearanced out since they are "holiday" punches. I got both for under $9.00. I love a bargain! Once I punched my paper, it reminded me of a trellis so I added some flowers & some leaves to complete the garden look. I colored her with my Copics and added a teeny tiny flower gem to her dress for a little sparkle. I also used a clear glitter Spica marker to add a hint of bling to her hair bows & pinafore. It doesn't show up well in the photo but you can see it sparkle in person.
I'm glad you stopped for a visit today. Have a good one!

Hope you had a wonderful holiday spent with good food & good company! It didn't seem like Christmas here in Ohio. No snow...I hate snow but would have liked it for the "Christmas" look. Now it can stay away until next year as far as I'm concerned! Sorry to all you who love it. LOL!

I am working on some cards for a local animal rescue. I have 10 more to go then I can start playing with my other stamps. My poor Magnolia girls are feeling neglected! I didn't get any Christmas cards made with them. And biggest shock of all...my winter kit arrived a couple of weeks ago & I haven't even gotten to touch it yet. Maybe a blizzard would be nice...snowed in and nothing to do but stamp!

I got a new digital camera for Christmas. Much clearer pictures than my old one & very easy to use. I was spoiled this year! I also got the Gypsy to use with my Cricut. Played with it a little. Hope to learn more about it in the coming week. I can't wait to "weld" my letters and to make some "shaped" cards. Oh, my brain is spinning with ideas! See you soon!

Good morning! I know I said I was back but have been caught up in the hustle & bustle of the holidays approaching. Haven't had time to craft and boy do I miss it! Just want to wish each & everyone of you a wonderful Christmas. Enjoy it & remember the real reason for the season. See you soon!

I'm BAAACK!!
My step mom is now home & doing much better. And my puppy sitting days are over. She is so cute but I couldn't get anything done. My animals are much happier now too. They were good with her but they had their moments...
These are 2 simple cards I made really quick with my Cricut. I used the Sweet Treats cartridge. I love "shaped" cards and when I found out about this cartridge I just had to get it. I went to Michaels over the weekend and they told me they were sold out of ALL cartridges due to their big sale on black friday. Well, Lo & behold when I was checking out I asked for a rain check I was told they had some. And they were still on sale. It made my day! Anyway, these were made lickety split. I used my embossing folders to add a little something to them. The ice cream cone needed some texture. The heart on top of the cupcake was made with glitter paper but it's not showing up well in the photo. The house is dark due to the dreary weather we are having. But I am not complaining. There is no rain & no snow so I am good with that. Thanks for dropping by today and I hope you have a great one. Toodles!

Quick post today. I am still puppy sitting because my step mom is still in the hospital. We are getting into a routine but my one dog doesn't especially care for the puppy so I have to be the "referee"! Plus we are potty training! She's learning quick!
This is a card we made at one of my classes. I wish all the "sparkle" would show up in the photo. The card base is pearlized and the the center of the poinsettia is glittery. We embossed it with silver pearl embossing powder & then cut it out & popped it up. Have a wonderful day. I hope to be able to craft a little today. We'll see how it goes. See you soon ...

Happy Saturday. This post will be quick. I am still on "puppy duty" and have to go and pick her up. Hopefully my stepmom will be coming home from the hospital today. I LOVE LOVE LOVE puppies but quickly forget how much work they are! Today's card is the Christmas card I am sending out this year. I make all the cards the same, assembly line fashion. My card is not the usual "christmas colors" but I really like how they turned out. The ornament is very sparkly in real life. I used some silver mirror cardstock and sparkly edged ribbon too. Thanks for stopping today. Enjoy this special season while it is here as it will pass all too quickly!

Hello! No new card today. I have been so busy lately & haven't crafted for several days (frowny face) I had high hopes for today but my step mom had to go to the hospital and I am bringing their new puppy over to watch. She is a little schnoodle, so cute! So I don't plan on getting much done. You know how puppies are. It's like having a toddler in the house. Gotta watch their every move. I plan on blocking us in the kitchen and writing out my Christmas cards. If you could please say a little prayer for my step mom that she would have a quick recovery & be home soon. Her birthday is Saturday. No one wants to be sick for their birthday! Have a wonderful day! And I hope to have something new to post soon.
