Gray skies are gonna clear up, put on a happy face...Maybe if I keep repeating this I will actually believe it?! It's such a yuck day..cold, gray & dreary. Makes you want to go back to bed & pull the covers over your head!
I had a lot of fun making these cards. The Geisha girl images from All That Scraps were available digitally so I bought them. They are so cute! Reminds me of my Magnolia Girls ( who have sadly been neglected!)You can't see too well in the photo but they have some clear glaze accents on the flowers and eyes. A touch of subtle sparkle too! Fun Fun Fun! Oh..the stickers are from Martha Stewart. Just perfect for this!
Thanks for popping by today!

Two days in a row...
This is a card we are going to make in one of my stamp groups. This particular group has about 25 members and we take turns a few times a year bringing a card for every one to make. We try to have 3 or 4 ladies do this each month. This is my month and I thought this would be one they might like. Now I just have to figure out what I am going to bring for a snack to share...
See ya soon!

Monday, monday...
Hello! Hope you had a wonderful weekend! It is SOOO cold here! Down in the teens and colder with the wind chill factor. Brrr... I have already been out this morning to take Linnie to the vet. She has a sizable bald spot on her leg and I wanted to make sure it wasn't ringworm or something contagious. They said it was negative for mange but not 100 % sure it isn't ringworm. Have to wait for the cultures to come back but they really think it is some kind of bacterial infection. I just wanted to be sure so it didn't spread to the others or ME!! I wouldn't worry so much but we have those 2 feral cats living in the yard and Linnie likes to play with one of them. Might have to figure out how to relocate them. I just don't need to worry about the diseases they can pass along to my pets.
I was in a mood for funny cards. I bought this digital from BugaBoo stamps. I typed the sentiment up on my computer. She was fun to color and add pearls for earrings. Used a little "smooch" for her lipstick. I popped up her purse for dimension. I got a giggle out of it. Hope you did too! Thanks for stopping. Stay warm and happy crafting!

I just picked her up from the groomer. Isn't she a little "cutie patootie"? The bows didn't last long. She already has 1 pulled out & ripped apart! Glad I took a picture as soon as we got home!

Hello! I'm still alive!! Been meaning to post but was so busy doing other stuff it didn't happen. I have been working on card packets for soldier's kids. I have pledged 8 kits with 8 cards in each kit. That's a lot of cards to make! I also went on a fun, fun weekend with some of my friends. It was a stamping/scrapping weekend. So much fun! We only got 8 hours of sleep the whole weekend. The food was also very good!( I gained 4 lbs. not happy about that!) Got a massage, took lots of classes...)
These cards are a few of what I've been working on. The Hippo card is not for the kiddos so don't think I would send them those...on the inside it says "I always say if you can't hide it you might as well decorate it". The Valentine kitty is a Penny Black stamp. Thanks for coming by today. I hope to see you soon. I will try to be better at posting more often now. Toodles!

Happy Saturday!
I just LOVE this card!! The image is a digital one from Pink Cat Studio. It was a very fun card to make! OK some of you may think I love squirrels...We have had many,
many issues with squirrels and our house. Many LONG stories...So now it's just basically "funny". If you can't beat them join them type of thing...
The leaves were die cut from a stamping up sizzix die. I added some clear glaze to his eyes & nose. Hope you enjoyed it.
Thanks for dropping by.
P.S..MYRA, we missed you the other night! Sorry to hear you won't be coming anymore.
Hope everything is OK!

Hi friends! It's Thursday & it's starting to snow here! Don't know how much we are "expecting" as I haven't watched the news.
Sorry my pictures are a little blurry. Yesterday I received my order from Magnolia-licious. She now sells the mini Magnolias! I think they are super cute! Would be excellent to use for tags,etc... I whipped up a few cards with some scraps I had on my desk. I just cleaned it off last week and it is already messy! I guess I just can't be creative in a clean "space" LOL. Looking forward to stamp group tonight. Always a fun time!
Stop again real soon ya hear!

Happy Wednesday!
Wow, did these pictures show up VERY bright. My card in real life is not quite so vivid! I thought this House Mouse stamp was sooo cute! You know me & cutsie!! I changed up the way I made the card a little bit. Getting tired of the regular open at the bottom or the side. Hope you enjoy it! See you soon.

Monday, monday....
Hello! No new cards today. I actually got a lot done yesterday for my class but I don't like to show them beforehand so the ladies are surprised! I did wake up to this army of Robots though! My daughter is on winter break from college and she was crafting last night. Pictures don't do these justice! They are so full of detail it's amazing. She made them out of clay & baked them. Some she painted and some were with the clay already colored. They are smaller than they look in the photo. I had to put on my glasses so I wouldn't miss any of the details. The screw heads even have small x's in them like the real thing. She is a very crafty gal.
Have a great day. See you soon!

Happy Sunday! Hope you had a great New Year's! We went out to a wedding/catering venue. It was kinda fun. The people I was with aren't exactly party animals. They didn't want to dance or anything. But it was better than staying home! I really just enjoyed watching all the different people. The one lady across the aisle from me caught my attention. She kept going up & getting plates of the beef they served. I'm thinking WOW...How can one person eat so much. Well...She was putting it in a ziploc baggie inside her purse. Her friend was stuffing Chicken Cordan Blue in her purse. Couldn't believe what I was seeing! The tickets were quite pricey so I don't think they were hurting for money. Not my place to judge but was shocked when I saw it.
OK...enough chatter! I am excited to finally get my Magnolias out again. I have missed using them. I have several Christmas ones I haven't used and didn't get to them. I'm still going to make some cards with them and save them for next year.
I love the floral background paper on the pink card. It's actually FABRIC paper from Hobby Lobby. Neat! I only bought one sheet to try it. (and only when it was on sale!)
Well, thanks for stopping. Enjoy what's left of the holiday weekend! TTYL!
