Happy Thursday! This turtle stamp is from Whipper Snapper stamps. I got it this past weekend at the stamping convention. I colored him with my Copic markers and used glossy accents on his shell & the little frogs eyes. My nickname for my daughter is turtle and this stamp makes me think of her. I added a snippet of ribbon on a circular paperclip to give it a touch of yellow.
Thanks for looking!

Hi ~ Thanks for stopping by today...These two images are from The Greeting Farm. The top one is Anya, Down on the farm. The little barn is a $1.00 stamp from Michaels. I colored it , cut it out & popped it up. I used the wave punch from EK Succes. I think it is my favorite new border punch. The bottom image is a digital image also from The Greeting Farm. It is Dorothy Anya. It is the first digital stamp that I have tried. I really like it. I didn't color it with the usual Dorothy, Wizard of Oz colors. This definitely makes it more versatile. I used tiny buttons on her dress but a few friends said they look like "boobs". I left them anyway. The flowers are also from Michael's in the bridal section. I added brads to the middle of the flowers and glue dotted them to my card. This company has some really cute images.(But I am not enabling you! LOL!)

This little chirpy bird was a card we made at stamp class this week. I think the ladies liked him! Both stamps are from Imaginese. The Flower petals were cut on the Cricut with the Walk in my Garden cartridge. It's hard to see but we pierced holes across the dark blue cardstock directly under the bird. The light blue cardstock has a polka dot texture to it. I didn't have any gems that matched so I colored clear ones with my Copic markers. That was neat..knowing that I can just keep clear gems on hand & can color them to match any project. We finished him off with some yellow gingham ribbon.
As I sit here posting this I can hear all the birds singing their little hearts out. We have had one here the last few days that sings nonstop. It sounds like she is saying "tinkerbell". My friend told me she thinks it is probably a cardinal. I hope you can open your window & enjoy the sounds of "spring" It's the little things in life that can bring you great joy if you let them. Until later....

Happy Spring! Today was a beautiful day but it actually was quite warm...felt more like a summer day. I have had quite a busy/fun weekend. Saturday I attended a stamping convention full of vendors selling their stamping wares. So much to see (and buy! LOL!) Came home with lots of goodies. I can't wait to play! Today I went to a scrapbooking crop with several of my stamping buddies. It was loads of fun. I didn't get as much done as I wanted but there was lots of yummy food, door prizes & laughter. So itwas a jam packed weekend doing the things I love to do with people I love to spend time with.
This is a card I made with Dragonfly Tilda from Magnolia. She is part of the Butterfly collection.I colored her with warm sunny colors and added some glitter to her wings to give her a touch of sparkle. I added rhinestones on the end of her antennae as well as the middle of the flowers.
Hope you had a great weekend and got to spend some time doing what you love. Take care and I will talk to you tomorrow.

I know I already posted today but I just had to show you what greeted me when I came home tonight. It stretched so far across the sky that I couldn't fit it all in one picture.Isn't it beautiful? I hope it brings a smile to your face just like it did mine!

Aren't these birdies just so darn cute? I saw them at http://www.allmyscraps.com/ and just had to have them. The set it called Tweet-ies by C.C. Designs. Their long eyelashes make them irresistible! They came with three sayings...Happy Bird-day, What?, and A little birdie told me. I don't know which one I like best. Maybe the one with the balloon. No, wait...maybe the one with the umbrella? I can't choose. I love them all. Have a fantastic day & Happy stamping!

Good Morning! I attempted to make a "scene" card with some of my stamps. I found this cute flower cart stamp at the used stamp sale I went to this weekend. It was only $1.00! What a deal! I colored it, then cut it out and added a brad on the handle & wheel & put it on my card. I dug through my stamps and found the plant stamp & the watering can. They are cut out & popped up. (It's hard to tell from the picture.) Tilda is also cut out & popped up. I added a shadow underneath them so they didn't look like they were in mid air. I added some small flowers to accent it. Added a little touch of glitter with my clear Spica pen and a little clear glaze on the leaves and cart. I think if I was to do it again I would do it on a white background and add some grass & sky. But I think it turned out fairly well. Thanks for looking!

Happy Saturday! This morning I went to a used stamp sale. What fun! Came away with lots of treasures! I made this card with a cute little mouse from Whipper Snapper stamps. Colored him with Copic markers and used a little glossy accents for his nose. Chalked his cheeks with a bit of pink chalk , cut out with Nestibilities and added a touch of shimmer with a clear Spica glitter pen to the flowers. Ribbon is from SU. Finished off the card with 3 little flowers with a gem stone in the middle. Enjoy the sunshine today. It's going to be a gorgeous day.

This is a quick little card I made last night. The mouse with strawberry stamp is from Whipper Snapper stamps. I colored it then cut out with Nestibilities label 1 set. I cut the green paper the next size up. I used glossy accents on the strawberry to make it look shiny & juicy...reminds me of summer! The bottom of my card was cut using the SU scallop border punch then I added a strip of green paper & cut that with the punch as well. You can't see it very well in the picture (I need to learn how to take better pictures LOL) but the bottom edge of my card is a straight edge. The strawberry charm I found in the Targets dollar section a few months ago. Thanks for stopping by today. Enjoy the sun while it lasts. It feels so good streaming through the windows doesn't it?

Isn't this little magnolia elf so cute? He is available at www.magnoliastampsus.com. I colored him with my copics as well as the mushrooms. Cut them out & pop dotted them onto my card. The card base is DCWV and the paper is a scrap I had in my scrap box. I used two brown corduroy button brads from SU to the right side to complete my card. He has a sister called "Alva" from the same collection. They were originally holiday stamps but I think most of the Magnolia stamps are very versatile. You don't have to use them just for the holidays. Hope you are having a nice day today. Thanks for looking!

Who says you can't make a cute card from a $1.00 stamp? Not me! This is a stamp I got in the dollar bin at Michaels. I stamped it 3 times and colored them with my copic markers then applied glossy accents to the frosting part. After I let them dry overnight, I cut them out and pop dotted them up on my card. The pink strip was made using a new border punch from Michaels. I typed the sentiment out on my computer. The inside says...I didn't forget your birthday! Kinda corny but I wanted a saying that went with the donut and that's all I could think of.

This is a cute little card that I had our stamp group make. The penguin is a QuicKutz die from Archivers. I used glossy paper for the white part of his body. We chalked his cheeks to give him some color and used pop dots to give some dimension to the card (yes, I love pop dots!) We stamped the birthday sentiment on the right hand side then added a piece of ribbon and a little flower with a brad to the top to finish him off.

I guess I need to learn how to take better pictures! This is Tilda with Ladybugs. She is from the spring kit I ordered. I think it is my favorite collection so far! It is called the Butterfly collection. All the images are so cute. I used some of my SU paper with the SU ribbon to match. I think it's the Bella Rose collection and the ribbon is Kiwi kiss. You can't see it in the picture but I went over her boots with my clear glaze pen to make them shiny. I added a few ladybug stickers to finish it off. Thanks for stopping by today!
This is another Tilda card I created last night. I colored her to match my free paper from the SU Sellabration catalog. The flowers are from the bridal dept. at Michaels. Most of my cards are pretty simple compared to the ones the other ladies make in the Yahoo group I belong to. I prefer my cards a little on the smaller size. I guess everyone has their own style!

This is another card I made with my favorite stamps. There is something about these little girls that have captured my heart. They are just soo cute! I used another one from the Easter collection,Tilda holding tulips. The basket stamp is also from the Magnolia store. I colored everything with my Copic markers and cut out Tilda & the basket and adhered them to my card again using pop dots. The butterfly is a MS punch that I accented with tiny pearls. It's hard to see but I used my clear spica glitter pen on the tulips. The corner butterfly punch is by All Night Media and I finished off the card with 3 small gems to match. Thanks for looking at my new blog. This is uncharted territory for me & I will be learning as I go along! LOL!

This is a card I made using Tilda with chicks. She is from the Easter collection. The tree & log are also Magnolia stamps. You can purchase them at www.magnoliastamps.us. I colored her with my Copic markers and carefully cut her out. After coloring the tree, I cut it out with my large scalloped Nestie and adhered it to my card. I used my clear glaze pen on the leaves. I also colored & cut out the log for Tilda to sit on. I adhered it & Tilda with pop dots. I finished it off with some flowers I had in my stash. It reminds me of spring.
Looking outside today it's kind of dreary out & cold. The daffodils are blooming and the birds are singing but it definitely doesn't feel like spring!

My first post! This is my sweet little dog Molly. She follows me around everywhere. She loves to cuddle and always wants to be held. I have a little bed right near my craft desk and she lays in it and watches me create.
